Its friday night! Everyone is prolly out doing something. I'm deciding what to wear and then headed out for a few drinks!

U know I think im honestly, done with FFXI. I've taken a few weeks off. I just really have no desire to play so much. And since i havnt been playing ive really toned up. FFXI is really a distraction from my gym time. and I love to go to the gym, i go 6x a week usually. But with ffxi i kinda slack off and will only go 2-3x I only go 3x a week anyway, but I'm trying to gain atm so no cardio. :/ Weight training onry^^! Up to 140lb lean body mass. :D

Up to 140lb lean body mass. :D u need to go 5-6x a week if ur trying to gain. 3x wont get u bigger, well it will but slowly. so long as ur giving ur muscles 1 day a rest u can workout muscles groups 2-3x per week depending on what area ur trying to get bigger. im at 5feet9 169lbs and 29waist at the moment. 18% bf EDIT: cardio is ok on off days so long as it doesnt exceed 20 minutes. The ~10lb I've gained these past few months suggest otherwise. :X I'm doing heavy compound workouts that hit pretty much everything at once. Rest is important in any case; muscle growth happens while you're at rest. Of course different stuff works for different people too. :D
I'd say getting on top of my diet and making sure I make it over my BMR every day is what's done the most for me though.^^ Who here is still missing on my facebook friend list?! I demand names! ;)

But tbh, weight shouldn't be ur measure of progress. Circumference/body area and BF% is the best measure of progress, b/c ur body weight can vary heavily on H20, fat and muscle. Ive gained 2 inches to my arms in less than 2 months. However im a supplement fanatic, so my results will probably be different. @Sergee - i sent u a PM with my fb info. @Josiahkf - yes ffxi is cheaper lol. But at the same time i just feel i have been so antisocial from my RL friends. i feel like im becoming a homo-hermit! i *** hate my dad, im never talking to him again, *** him

Heavy compound movements (which work me head to toe, meaning no room for back-to-back training days) serve me the best because I have yet to develop very much muscle mass. For someone with more muscle than me, a more complex rotating workout schedule works better. :) My friend's a certified personal trainer/nutritionist, and I've spent quite a bit of time researching things myself.^^ I don't think I'm wasting my time anyway. :) What happened Hoho :< ? It all depends on what machines, freeweights and if ur lifting properly. I hold my BS and MS in Human Physiology and Biochemistry. Not trying to say ur wasting ur time. I'm just telling u there are more productive methods. A good workout is a good workout. Anyways off to the club.
