FFXI LGBT Community, Who Are You?

I just had the best Abyssea experience. So I join this shout group to help my friends get VV and the THF pulls Turul so we lose blunt window over that and they didnt even get a body to drop. They didn't even get proc cause I refused to help them. So we pop EE, get yellow which everyone mistook for red and kill it. No atma. So I finish my set, and guess what happens? The THF pulls Turul again. So I dissolve alliance and let him die and since he was the tank after he dies my PT has claim but the other PTs have hate so it hunts them all down and kills 13 people. So this player named Fadetoblack, a total ***. Stays for my pop but swaps from WAR to NIN because he refused to proc since he wasn't allowed to lot drops. He starts tanking it and I have to swap to WAR to proc. Soon as I proc his PT drops successfully stealing the NM, but in some twist of fate they magically lost claim and we got back all within 60 seconds. So every player in that PT got screwed out of atma/drops cause they thought they could get back at me over Turul. I knew that was their plan all along, if I didn't have to swap to WAR for proc and stayed on my Vere MNK no way his terrible NIN could have kept hate enabling him to steal it.

Good article. :) It addresses one of the things that has always bugged me - there is a disappointing shortage of heroes with which LGBT people can readily relate. We need heroes too !!

I'm not saying it's important that our heroes be gay; it's just disappointing that in most popular representations of heroism, heroes seem so often to define themselves based on their overwhelmingly heterocentric love interests.

She is one of my hero's. She isn't gay, yet she is soooo fing fierce for our cause...

I am still kind of on-the-fence about liking the song in general because I'm a big advocate of "You are special, however, having a special person to spend your life with makes you and your partner double special!"

Deciding on colleges is tough :/ Looking at NYU Tisch at the moment, but other people are talking about going to Columbia in Chicago, and then I'm also worried about fees and all that. So frustrating. I'm not even sure if I want to go into Lyricism as a major. Musical performance is something more popular in my local area, but my music teacher says I need to leave as fast as possible if I want to even have a chance with the music industry.
