FFXI LGBT Community, who are you?

I am in the process of getting some of those arguments from my mother. When I first came out to her she was fine with it, and me. 2 weeks later she was fine with me, not it. Now (4 weeks or so) She says that I am her son, and will always love me, but I am choosing a lifestyle of sin and evil. The only way I keep from lashing out, or bursting into angry/sad tears is to think of this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5hfYJsQAhl0 It seems juvenile, but it helps me to take a step back, and look at things logically. Normally in those situations I would be so emotional that I couldn't look at her arguments in any logical fashion, I would just flail about with words till I calmed down. This is another example showing that, just because someone reacts one way at first, doesn't mean that their views will stay the same over time. This example happens to be a bad one. But their are good ones too, where parents realize how important their children are and stop fighting. By fighting I mean that parents realize they will be unable to control or change their children's orientation, and start to accept it as a part of their child, not a problem with them.
Again that choice word. I hate it so much

I do as well. And when I tell her that it is 100% not a choice, and that I am insulted and hurt that she thinks that, she responds with "I think your being brainwashed, I think you need to wait and see what you 'want' after you move away from 'that' place." I wish I were kidding, but alas I am not. x_x.
What is getting me now, is that she is saying things against the community, but in her mind I am not a part of that community. So she will say: "Gays are evil and sinners." or her favorite "Gays need to think about what their coming out does to their family, and what their families have to deal with as a result of them coming out."
She ends all of those comments with, "You're my son and I love you."
That pretty much says to me that she hates who I am, and others like me, but doesn't hate me. Which is *** confusing.
Which leaves me absolutely pissed off, but so far I have been trying to stay civil. Which is getting harder and harder as time goes on. x_x

i guess you choose to get bullied since 8 or any early age years old , afraid of getting killed on the streets all days, or being homeless because your family does not want you to "be gay" , orlyyyyyyyyy, now.. being a transgender is a choice tho, you choose to change your genitals

Gays are at the forefront of the fight against superstition. It is a position I do not envy.
Onirisu, my suggestion, is work on your poise, and keep a level head when she makes comments like that. Point out her contradictions. Like you, she rides her emotions in an argument, and she's got the upper-hand in that regard because she's got experience (In emotional argument. This doesn't get you far in the real world.), a bandwagon behind her, and command of arguments with you because of her position in your life as mother (Authority). You've got logic and progress on your side, the only reason you'll lose an argument is through logical fallacy, all of which she is utilizing.

All I can say is Onirisu is keep your head high! Show you are proud and enlighten people on who you are. Gay only defines a portion of you, there is so much more to a person than sexuality and if people accept everything else they can accept the gay.

One of the perks of being gay I find is not having sexist limitations. Like just today, I asked a girl if I could borrow her concealer & foundation (She happened to have the same skin complexion as me). She said yea and I went merrily to the bathroom where I applied it with others there as well, went back and sat down giving it back to her with no negative or snide comments given, and on top of that I got compliments on how wonderful my skin was looking :) A great day indeed

Also dont you hate when you have the hiccups and you are trying to be all discreet about it then when you go to yawn a giant loud hiccup comes out instead I totally just did that..;-;
