One of my friends can't donate because she had a false positive on some medical test. She was so mad. I can't donate because I don't weigh enough and my blood pressure is pretty low. :-(

I'm astounded and a bit offended that they won't take blood from homosexuals. Really, loving whoever you love doesn't make you diseased, lol. And it certainly doesn't make up for them accepting straight people who have sex with everyone like a bunch of horny rabbits. >.> Some people need a good stiff slap in the face!

Yes logic and America do not go good together, For instance keep your church out of my state. Current political candidates "As an American we where built on Christian values and we need more Christian laws, that is why gays shouldn't be married, also we don't know why tides happen", reality and logic reply "Moon = tides. Separation of church in state. Several of the founding fathers where deist and did not base their laws on the bible. Give me a reason outside of God, for that law to be legit and i'll allow it". Candidates reply "Why are you involving God in this it has nothing to do with the laws I'll make, also um homosexuality doesn't exist in nature and you can't reproduce", response "Plenty of straight men and women have no way of reproduction but are still allowed to get married. Also we know at least 72 species of Mammals have gay relationships, not just sex. And according to evolution homosexuality is a natural process in which to help control the already over populated earth." Candidate, "Oh your bringing this thing with no proof that you call evolution into it, and attacking my beliefs when I never said anything about God, your a horrible person good bye" Candidate then wins whatever race he is in.

I had no idea gay men are banned from donating blood. That's...lol, I'm losing hope everyday. I have to write a paper tonight on an unjust law and know exactly what I'm writing about now. lolFDA

They didn't bother to test her again?

I'm in the same boat as you with the low blood pressure and what not. I guess being hemophobic doesn't help either. Every time I even see the blood donation truck parked outside the school I get dizzy.

They've re-tested her since and it's negative. But they told her it didn't matter, if she ever popped positive she could never donate, even if it was a false positive. :/

Evolution was proved in the late 80's its not a theory anymore lol via Genetic drift and mutation in retroviruses.
But yah ur completely right in ur statement, its been identified in many other species for quite some time.

more americans need to educate themselves and be more tolerant of others simple as that. 3 assaults happened this week in West Hollywood. One to a good friend of mine. I'm not happy since i live two blocks away fromt he assault

I wasn't saying that evolution wasn't true I was taking quotes made this year from current republican candidates and hodgepoging them together into a sartorial piece to show why we have stupid laws.

Nice! I was in Ptown this summer and saw Raja out of drag (and Mimi Imfurst in drag). Raja's hair was bleached blonde and had awful blue contacts in. Pretty darn friendly. We took a pic with him. We asked him, "Where's Adam?"

Raja paused and replied, "...Lambert? He's home.."

Mimi Imfurst on the other hand...total "SEE YOU NEXT TUESDAY". >.>

And here's a funny tidbit...when Myspace was huge, Mimi Imfurst always tried messaging me...total creep! D:

Anyway, the next morning, we were walking into town and Raja was on his bike. My boyfriend called out, "Raja, are you following us?! Oh, and where do you think Rupaul is right now?"

Raja laughed and said, "I don't know...probably on his bike!"

Gotta <3 drag queens.
