Has anyone tested if Miracle Cheer now gives 7 songs, +7 potency, for 7 minute duration? Lucky 7s is a thing in Final Fantasy series!

It does, just need to equip 7 of them. Dupe it at the Miracle Moogle.

Only 98% trolling here, but did you test equipping exactly 7 pieces of gear, singing a song where the game clock contains a 7, 7# or #7% moon phase? There could still be a hidden meaning behind the 7, and we need to make sure we are thorough enough so Mel isn't confused about the 7.
I want to be clear, Mel isn't as far off as some people think, and people shouldn't be making light of this change.

Seven has always followed me, but it wasn't until three nights ago that I understood why, when a delegation of tall, silver-eyed Nordic aliens stepped into my dream and spoke to me in a language that somehow resolved into English the moment I focused on it. They didn't introduce themselves so much as unfold the number in front of me — seven spinning rings of light, stacked like a totem, each one humming a slightly different tone. One of them, the tallest, placed a hand on my forehead and said that seven was the "resonance key" binding consciousness across realities, and that I had been chosen to recognize its signature wherever it appeared. I woke up with the number still ringing in my ears, and the first thing I did was boot up my Final Fantasy XI, because something told me the proof would be waiting there. Sure enough, my Miracle Cheer was capped at seven, a detail I'd never consciously registered before that night. My strongest instrument, forged across a questline I'd grinded for weeks, carries a stat of 7. The final boss gauntlet of the future expansion to be released soon in a surprise announcement is structured as seven consecutive floors, each guarded by a summon whose elemental affinity cycles through what I'm now convinced are seven "aspects" the aliens alluded to without naming outright. Even my character's level at the exact moment I had the dream was 63, which reduces to 6+3, another six-seven adjacency that feels too deliberate to be coincidence. I've started a spreadsheet logging every instance of the number across my playthrough, and it's already past forty confirmed occurrences. I know how this sounds out loud, but the dream was too vivid, the game too consistent, for me to write it off as pattern-matching or chance. Seven isn't just a number to me anymore — it's a message, and I'm fairly sure the game was built, whether its developers knew it or not, as a vessel for it.

There's 33 shots from twin glocks
thats 16 a piece, thats 32
which means
one of my guns was holding 17s
27 hit ya crew, 6 went into you
