Maxixi Bangles +4 Disabled.

I'll start with what I think the issue is. After completing the Vanabout requirements for silver tier rewards I selected the Dancer Artifact +3 set. After throwing away the +3 Bangles is when I believe the issue began.

I had upgraded my original pair of +3 bangles via limbus to +4, the only action I can do now is move the item around to and from my inventory. I cannot equip it on Dancer, and it appears greyed out when equipping manually from the in game menu options. It does not get called via the macro system or windower with gearswap. I am at a loss at what to do. I was curious if anyone else has experienced this unintended consequence. Called a GM, waiting on response. Have relogged/zoned multiple times and nothing changes.

Race change?

Yeah this was something known. Race change (specifically gender) causes an issue with Dancer artifact. For some reason, the dats have a male and a female version of the same armor (which doesn't make any sense logically, they could have just designed it differently for males vs female).

Didn't you have to trade it back to the Moogle that fixes it, Repairer Moogle? I recall this happening before but not sure what was done to fix it.

When I made the Artifact piece i was a Taru Male, now my character is an Elvaan Woman because I needed shards of trust. Sigh. Let's see if this Repairer Moogle works on +4 gear.

Fixed. I still have no idea why the Artifact +3 moogle rewards from Plaudits triggered my +4 gloves to revert back to a male version when I threw away the unneeded +3 bangles.

They really conned yall into race changing for Limbus. Damn, Omega-level mutant genius.

They didnt change to Galka atleast.

Pay once and you're locked in for good. They got yall ***. Just a matter of time until everyone of yall turns into Galkas (why would I ever swap from a Galka?)

Give us a race change option and then an actual reason to change for more than just cosmetics. Such cash flow. Smart stuff.
