Sigh.

Nevermind bro.

no need to get all like that just because you dont understand the issue.
Let me graph it for you maybe that will help.

You can choose between 2 methods. one that goes "exactly" to the cordinates like you talk about and one where you just go within a deadzone.

both have different issues.

The issue is that we dont only zone at a zone line there is 2 wayy to zone out (see above the dotted line)
and the behavior for one zone becomes very bad for the other method of zoning.

So no it not as simply as just "go to the cordinates" like you tried to say.

basically the under/overshooting jitter from your suggested method (just go until you reach the cordinates), Is just masked by the zoneline. But when there is no zoneline it becomes an visible issue

anyway

new version is up.
It has the prior fixed but the zone handling has been striped.
it also now has the ability to select between strict and soft mode.
Strict mode will fix any run away issues if you have a very low min distance in laggy areas and dont want to increase the min distance

//tfo mode {strict|soft}

Let me spell it out for you.

Go *** yourself.

Not like I self-modified the original fast follow a year ago or anything to already fix all its ***. Not like I don't know what I'm talking about.

This has been great. Just finished 6box sortie with no issues with this. Thank you. I agree on the soft mode preference. It's nice not getting dog leash tugged when you tab character immediately.

Sorry if I was unclear in my prior post. I definitely don't need anyone to mess with AI code. My point was to show there were others who appreciated having a zoning feature. It had already been discussed and implemented into my mine a few others' FastFollow. I appreciate it for the ability to take the squad into the moghouse without having to 6xs tab.

I personally modified my copy of the current version of TurboFollow, and the zoning works fine, but that doesn't help anyone else hence why I spoke up.

Good to hear.
Your AI code is basically what I do manual now. I have a nudge command that uses setkeys, that I send @all with.

But I wanna give it a few tries to find something more direct/elegant. But if i cant find then..maybe i just patch in a automatic nudge function

New update out. nothing exciting function wise
just some CPU optimization by removing some redundants fallback mechanism and using some more proper windower/ffxi function for gathering player data.

Thanks i'll give it a try. Last night fastfollow screwed my sortie run and sheol C run by POS warping my brd to what seemed to be 500 feet below the entrance and it only fixed itself after I warped.

Jesus Christ.

I'm tempted to just make a page with every addon/plugin and folks can give it a Like/Dislike to assign that a 'safety' score. . . .but I could see people just down-voting every addon for fun.

where's that repo crawler guy
that is a great idea
