Players with a 30k unit cap won't be upgrading accessories beyond rank 21, and I think we can reasonably assume that the augments for the armor will follow a similar unit cost system. I've seen these kinds of excuses being made for all the new content that we've received in the past ~6 years. The playerbase ignores it for a long time because they hate change/don't enjoy the content/don't have interest in the rewards/etc, then all of a sudden the gear is "best in slot" or becomes desirable in some way, and now they exclaim that they can't ignore the content anymore and are frustrated because they are now behind.
Yeah and uh...you have 21 ranks of accessories (or armor) to increase your cap from 30k.
So like...2 chest upgrades and you can upgrade it to 25?
The cap won't be a problem, for anyone, unless they make it like 50k to uncurse a piece of armor. It's just dreaming and hoping from people who are proud of their unit caps.
And yeah...there are plenty of people who don't do content that isn't rewarding or fun, because it's not rewarding. I don't think it's an unreasonable position to hold. Frankly, I've done very few Limbus climbs because I already have all the armor I need, most of the armor I want, and the accessories augments are largely irrelevant.
