I made pages for the new armor pieces (NQ/+1/+2) but there is only so much I can do from my work computer. Hope I didn't step on your toes too much.

version update page is just a list of everything that got changed; i'm sure when it gets hotfixed it'll get changed back.
do you still get the 138 defense from null masque or did it get nerfed to 0 defense?
They dedicated a entire set to sword enhancement spell damage? Glad to see RDM finally getting the buffs it so desperately needs. I don't believe anyone can make the gear yet, because the uncursing thing comes from the box upgrades, which haven't happened yet? This is definitely speculation, but the best I know ATM. Some of the pieces look interesting for pet jobs, but I'm kind of unenthusiastic about the sets.
That's only because you still haven't seen the godly augments!

Do they have augments? The base stats on the pieces are kind of high, but the special stats suck, so actually augments could fix them.

It depends on whether they use a Path A/B/C approach or make it random. They probably did A/B/C, so probably yes.

cracks me up for how the lens of if gear is a good addition to the game or not is always
"hey do you have this 1/100 drop rate item or grind for 6 months item?" as pointed out in other threads, if the gear is even remotely obtainable they are perfect stepping stone pieces for new players or players picking up new jobs to the grindier pieces (r25 ody, sortie, 1% omen bodies) and that lens can even be ignored if the augments are good

I'm 0/Don't Ask on Gin, but if they made Omen bodies part of a Magian thing where you had to trade scales with the corresponding body to +1 it, well.....

The new body only drops STP by 2 and the resist para the rest the other body is well ahead even acc/att when accounting for the STR and DEX increase.

I'm a returning player after 3 years and while I've got all the v0 odyssey gear unlocked, absolutely no one (that I've seen) does odyssey on my server anymore, openly at least. Rabao is a ghost town. Both of my ls went from so full you sometimes couldn't get in if you zoned (3 years ago) to 10-15 people in it but no one talks and from the looks of it, there's only maybe 3 actual people in them with the rest being multibox, on top of everyone I see running around now with 3-5 characters in tow. Friendlist is completely empty. There is absolutely no way I can v25 my odyssey gear, so this new stuff is looking pretty decent and outside the crafted portion (jse+1/2 necks and other crafted stuff hasn't sold on my server in months to years for my jobs, so this isn't looking good...), if it's not terrible to augment, then that's even better for me. Don't think any buffs are needed without offsetting the job balances. The sword enhancement set might make rdm op though, might see a nerf coming. Revel Plate: -52HP -44MP +37DEF +17 STR, +5 DEX, +7VIT, +7AGI, +9INT, -2MND, -3CHR -3acc, -3atk, -3racc, +42ratk, +42macc, +33evasion, +4meva, +2MDB, -2STP, -90 Resist Paralyze, +8%crit rate, 1 more -DT% Ashera Harness: +52HP +44MP -37DEF -17STR -5DEX -7VIT -7AGI -9INT +2MND +3CHR +3acc +3atk +3racc -42ratk -42macc -33evasion -4meva -2MDB +2STP +90 resist paralyze -8% crit rate, 1 less -DT% So, as you can see, you take more damage when you wear Ashera Harness, so its only viable considerations vs. Revelation is a fight where paralysis is common/can't be chump blocked by Divine Caress paralysis potion strat. The 2STP likely isn't affecting your time to TP. The raw stat increase puts their accuracy at parity, with Revelation having higher attack and the crit rate, to boot. Granted, it's not like the white damage increase is gonna blow your socks off, but Revelation Platemail is handily the superior gear piece. You better wear it if you get it. Also do my eyes deceive me? Does the MNK/BST/DNC etc. set just straight up say, "Damage Dealt +%?"
