This reminds of me of that guy who shows up to Valkurm dunes XP parties in all Lizard +1 gear ...and then to Qufim Island in Beetle+1 gear.
Does anyone else remember the period of 3 months where had Raetic+1 weapons in existence?
Personally, I try to invest my FFXI play time into things that SE won't or can't invalidate too quickly. I guess the FFXI progression treadmill keeps moving and one way or another, makes fools of us all.
