Strange Mercenary Request

Hello Bahamut,

I need a merc for the Sortie KI Ra'Kaznar Sheet D from Chest #D5. The objective is to kill all Demisang mobs. I have failed even with a full party. I keep timing out between 40 seconds and a minute too soon.

I need it for a few characters. I would assume a merc would only be able to take 1-2 characters per run, which is understandable. Please PM me here or hit me up in game on Goosefactor with your price and availability.

Honestly though if you can't kill them in time then having the KI is worthless.
You likely won't be clearing any basement content if you can't meet that basic DPS check

You just have to move at 800% speed and pos hack to pull all the mobs to cleave them.

Is that why your gpu is failing?

So I was recently looking to help some friends with this very objective and was possibly over preparing for it till someone told me they were able to do it on Sam with only trusts and 3x Hermes quenchers.

There is no reason why a party of six should not be able to do it.
Don't give up, find out where you are failing and improve or the rest of sortie will be even more difficult for you.

Is it your gear?
Is it bad macros?
Are you wasting too much time tabing to other characters? When you could be using send macros

Oh, I am pretty confident it is because I am multiboxing and tabbing a ton. I am also using 5x pretty well geared PUPs and a WHM. I don't have any heavy DD jobs really on any character. Nor do I have a real tank. One PUP is geared as a tank to hold the mobs while the rest pick them off one by one.

Also, I really only use in-game macros. I have windower, but don't use gearswap (I may need to start, lol). So yeah, tabbing 4 times just to get all characters to deploy on 1 or 2 enemies is certainly not the most efficient.

Anyway, the above is precisely why I am looking to buy the KI :)
I will bump this here and there and continue trying on my own until I finally get it or I get a seller, and I am definitely all ears for different strategies using mainly Pet and Mage jobs using in-game macros and gearsets.

You will save an incredible amount of time with send and eliminating the tabbing

And you should have a gearswap by now

Any time spent on an action that is more than 1 action is multiplicative

He was joking referencing recent discussion of guy using all available hacks to fully clear whole Sortie.

I know, a good friend of mine keeps telling me to get it and that I am crippling myself a ton by not having it. And I do believe that.

This might end up being a much bigger endeavor than just getting a KI.

Still looking for a merc until (and if) I make it happen.

Send your cor back to the portal when you start the last room. Not everyone needs to tag the portal for the temp item.

Good to have a PLD to pull all mobs but I'd say it's bs that you can A Edge them without pulling hate from the tank. I did mine using 2 SAM killing them one by one. Fudo Kasha Shoha will kill them with BRD COR. BLU can cleave them but you need to find 2 very good BLU to do it.
