Hey all. Been mostly soloing since I came back but really wanna get some odyssey clears. I am pretty flexible in my availability. I have all jobs at 99 and several jobs mastered and relatively well geared but will work on any job requested.

If you’re looking for pug, I see shouts every other day on Bahamut for V0, V15, and V20 Ody NMs.

I almost never see a shout that isn't job/gear specific. I haven't actually been in a party in years lol. If my recollection serves, a PUG would likely be a waste of 3 KI =/

Idk. Ody C in PUG has 2 main layouts:
1. 3x DD, Cor, Brd, Whm
2. 2x DD, Tank (Pld or Run), Cor, Brd, Healer

The reason ppl runs these layouts is because they are the most opportune ways to get segments.

For DD people want jobs that can do 2 damage types and high damage. Mostly this ends up being Drk, War, Drg. But a ‘very well geared’ Blu or Rng can do it too. K-Club also lets multiple jobs do it.

Idk what you mean by ‘gear specific’. If you’re expecting to join content without a basic TP gain and WS set then that’s not something changing servers would help with. In 6 man content people are expected to carry your weight as if one person messes up the other 5 suffer.

PUGs on Bahamut tend to be give 7k Segments on average. Idk what you’re expecting from a static. But very few groups consistently get 11k+ segs a run.

Note: If you’re a fresh back player go play Healer or Cor. Those roles have the easiest time gearing for entry lvl end game.

I see SAM more than I see DRK or DRG, by a large margin. NIN with KC is also capable of doing as much as WAR or SAM (or DRK or DRG).

PUG on Asura do 9-11k regularly. 14k (capped) is possible if you are elite and join some of the JP shouts (that don't really shout anymore tbh).

Oh yeah, I knew that. Just responding to Senaki.

Short answer for Gaol is COR is typically used for 100% of the fights.

What type of cor for gaol fights
Just Rolls
Savage blade
Arma crits Cor
A skillchains participant might be best suited for last stand
Leaden Cor doesn't get used much in oddessy I don't think due to resistance maybe wildfire instead for double darkness
Etc
Been a long time since I did any boss oddessy
I mainly ask to perpetuate discussion and curiosity for my own future progressions

The only gaol fight where cor just does rolls is Ngai, aside from the occasional synchronized weaponskill for blue proc. Every other fight they either need a proper savage blade or last stand set and good tp/ranged tp sets. And skillchains only matter on ongo and to a lesser extent kalunga's blue proc.

You use Leaden on Marmokrebs fights if using RNG+COR to skillchain.
