I don't think you can conclusively find a cutoff that's always safe. SE can reliably detect 30% as well as they can reliably detect 50% if you run in a straight line for 1.2s (0.75 with packetflow). It only takes 3 consecutive movement updates to solidify that your client knew your speed buffs were gone(the response packet says the last packet sequence you received) and you continued to move in that direction at that speed.

Maybe 30% is currently below their threshold, or maybe you're just lucky so far. Someone cheating and not getting banned is always going to be a poor indicator, because they ban so few even with the aggressive level of cheating present right now.

For that matter, we don't even know how much of a role reporting plays. Would your 30% get you banned if someone who dislikes you saw that you were in Sortie and reported you? Who knows. Everyone entertains their own accepted level of risk.

This seems correct upon reading it. Think of the elevator before PM5-2 or the cliff in Uleguerand. Pretty common to have mobs warp to you there when you momentarily report an invalid Y location.

What bug? I see 800% Tako and Silmaril ripping around. Again if you wanna fish for compliments I wouldn't advise releasing tutorial videos on Nyzul and Seg farms while activiely POS hacking and speed hacking. You just look like a dumbass.

After seeing how high he has speed turned in that video, I can't help but think back to how many people 'unsubbed' around the time of ban waves in the past. Guess we have an answer though; he doesn't have any unique tools or secrets, same stuff as everyone else just more blatant.

One thing I will agree with is when you realise how much people bot and hack and buy Gil to get elite it really makes you wonder why you bother to play legit though.

I was 1000% legit until 2017 then realised that noone has all the levels and gil and weapons they have manually. I felt like such a mug for playing legit the whole time.

4006 is more about duration / distance than speed itself. Like a meter that builds up maybe. Every stop it decays.

You can run 800% as long as you stop enough. But if you run 30% nonstop it'll hit you. (but it could be the micro jumps that farming does, stopped learning because it got annoying to keep hitting it)

Sidenote, no character that ever 4006'd, no matter how many times has gotten banned (yet) Just for informational purposes, whoever wants to think it's some autoban device or whatnot.

From a backend perspective, it's probably just comparing your position <some time> ago vs your position now.

And if that distance is > a threshold, it slaps you.

Since this comparison is kinda expensive, you wanna avoid doing it too often since you are tracking it for every single player.

So, they have a long time distance to track on to save computations. It could be something like only every minute they take a look and if you just traveled a very far distance in that 1 minute, you get bonked.

An easy test would just be run around really fast but only in a small circle, if it works like above you'll never get disconnected because technically you never actually travelled far from any 1 position to another.

Whereas if you go in a mostly straight line, then you get slapped.

If you come into a thread like this or you make a thread in which you brag about some super secret hardcore X that improves Y but then don't actually share ANY information about it, you should be banned from the site for trolling.

There is zero reason to encourage this type of behavior. Ban and move on.

You'd think simply just outright stating they are exploiting a bug would be sufficient to get them banned anyways.

Hey all, sorry I was initially planning on doing a recording of my most recent route but Dex actually raised a good point, it'll cost me about 90$ just to resub and I'm probably rusty and out of shape anyways so it would take me a couple runs to get back in the groove and then record. And i'm just too lazy for that, so here's a video I already made awhile back that was just sitting on my HDD, as I was still on the fence about whether I should share it or not.

Fair warning, the route in the video is outdated and typically only nets about 125k-127k depending on ghosting. I have since then made some changes and have a new route that consistently got 129-130k is a bit tighter and requires some more execution. In any case, I put the entire route information for both the recent and legacy routes in the video description.

Anyways, there likely may not be much novelty here since I figure most people have already figured it out, but if anyone is interested anyways, there it is.

By the way, some of you guys need to take it easy. I never stated I was special/bEttEr thaN yoU/skilled pLAyeR/or whatever yall want to project onto me. I said it before and I'll say it again, I'm literally just some *** random *** dude. If you want to compare yourself to me, than that's on you, don't assume I'm interested in playing that game. They didn't turn sparks off until 2020 so he fell off pretty early. Also could have made like 20 REM just from running ambu and doing trials, but a weapon every few months isn't fast enough for people these days. I only play single account so maybe it's different for people trying to gear 6x or something.
