We've had data mining threads since before abyssea released. The data mining itself only shows the items and doesn't spoil the in game experiences. The game is 22 years old and on the verge of death. And to top it all off, the stats from this thread are shown via the in game client by talking to the NPC. Why are we even having this discussion?

Flaming Crush temperature hot-take... I think I like the green +4 item borders. :) Hoping +5 (if it happens) is purple or red, though. Never was a fan of the yellow +3, to be honest...!
While sharing many others' sentiments about the upgrades being pretty nominal, this seems like some neat content to return to and give a spin after being away for a couple years!

Everything in FFXI has been blurple lately. It would only be fitting that the final JSE upgrades also had blurple borders...

For female warrior type characters the more revealing the armor is the higher the defense value must be! That chainmail bikini from the early dragon quest eras probably had one of the highest defensive ratings available.

Again, I cite FFXIV 1.0 as a direct refuting of your ***. You don't even need to cite 1.0. The current XIV has datamined for ages. And in that case it's a competitive advantage. Looking up Zones for Raids, Text dialogs, Move lists, etc. It's just accepted as is ACT and other addons that are used. It's just a few people whining about datamining. Just ignore them and move on. It happens in literally every MMO that doesn't full post what's available on patch.

I'm still trying to convince myself that somehow this is just one huge mistake and they're going to do an update to fix the garbage they just gave us as +4 AF and relics.
How long ago did Omen and Dynamis D come out? They've had all those years to think about the gear, and this is what we get? Please let this all be just one big mistake. lol |
