What's sad is this could have beaten Nyame head R30 if they had the inclination to add attack to it. This +4 has 1% more WSD, 7 more STR, 13 more DEX, 8 more VIT, and 14 more AGI, whereas Nyame R30 has +75 more attack. This is assuming it's not easy to hit attack cap on NIN.
No attack+ on a WSD piece is absolutely criminal.

So touched final chest on 3 toons. 2/3 got 3k points, third got 5k... wonder what the difrence is.

Likewise, iLimbus may not be a great place to grind EP, but if solo players or lowman groups can get units *and* EP at the same time, that's more efficient than just punching colibri.
This is fair, and IMO one of the better aspects of new Limbus. It doesn't have to be the OPTIMAL exemplar farming location, but at least giving some meaningful amount of EP from the same content people are doing for other reasons is a welcome addition.

I will assume you mean FFXI community when you say "the community"
This has not been true since at least March 2008 when BG first started doing the "Version Update Changed" pages, so for 17 years of the 23 years the game has been running.
Solving the content has been the challenge, "finding the rewards" was for anyone who did not know where the information was on the wiki.
even though I knew Shango Robe existed every mob we killed had me on the edge waiting to see if this was the one that was going to drop it. you are focused on an insignificant aspect of the experience and not the whole.

Well, think of how much more hyped you would've been if you didn't know it existed and you saw it for the first time in a drop.
Every mob could drop an item you know about, or every mob drops all items you've never seen and you get to experience it every time.
Instead of being disappointed you didn't see a known drop, you could've been excited to see an unknown become known.

So yeah, as one of the two DDs that are known for strong hybrid WS damage (sorry COR RNG and Ifrit, yours is a more limited niche). IDK, to me that sounds like a pretty great situation for a NIN!
Of course, you wouldn't use the new +4 gear for that since Nyame has WSD *and* the MAB you need to make hybrids shine. So LOL to +4 stat fail.

head already has heavy competition just by virtue of mpaca hat being there to be fair, potential +5 could easily clear it otherwise

So, I'm getting way too much latency in Limbus zones to actually work on getting access to any of this stuff (I literally counted ten seconds between selecting a trust from menu and getting the "starts casting" message for it at one point), which means I need to ask the people who actually have unlocked access to the furnaces already:
Does the relic gear still have the augments that enhance job abilities? Because I don't see that in the datamined stuff, and if that somehow disappeared here that is actually a huge downgrade for a number of pieces.

I'm confused, I got the keys on all 7 floors, at the same level, but the chest won't open. do you need to get all 7 keys in one run?

I'm not playing atm and noone has confirmed except maybe the RNG Trueflight claim (buffs not clarified though he says malaise). If confirmed then SAM+COR will be used and not NIN though.

Just filling up the bar on SE#1 did not let me get this.
I then proceeded to kill each type of mob in SE
When that didn't work, I killed everything that looked different.
None of these worked, so I warped out to do some work.

but where did they hint at +5 Latest hint: their release notes. The known issues had three pieces of +5 gear as typos. The number of typos in the gear is incredible, though.
Pummeler's Calligae is missing the "+4" completely. This doesn't mean they are reworking +0 gear.
Strings are strange all over the place. Words are wrong, formatting is off. I usually don't bother to ***on SE for bad QA but this really is comical. It's like they didn't bother to have person #2 even check the strings file before straight to release. All of this is visible right at the NPC who shows you the gear.
All they had to do was copy/paste the existing stuff and tweak a few numbers. The fact that they changed:
Shortens magic recast time for spirits
into
Decreases Elemental Magic recast delay
is extra egregious because that changed the meaning so much it no longer actually makes sense for what it does. Anyone reading that would rightly suspect that it decreases elemental magic recast time, when it's actually elemental SUMMON recast time.

If you don't understand the difference between, lets go kill this mob and find out what it drops
and, lets go kill this because it drops a loot crate that could have anything in it

The community of this forum specifically, in this case.
I made an argument for something I thought was an issue, if people disagree and like it then they can keep doing it as it is.
I argued they should remove the private server wiki pages from bgwiki, they decided they wanted to keep them and that was that. They are still there. I argued they should remove the private server sections from this forum, Rooks decided it was too much effort to change it so they stayed (and fair enough, he doesn't have to do anything).
I can't make people do anything, I'm just making an argument for it.
