I know that vagary is old and of course there are people from here and there who know some of these secrets. Some of them knew by chance, some of them knew when they saw their friend or someone in the party doing this or someone told another that he saw her with a group, but it is rare, but there is no one who knows these secrets completely and does exactly like me, all the steps , sorry I do not want to say this, but you forced me.

What he is trying to say is that he is presenting information that he has never seen anyone reveal before. Information you may not have known is not a secret, but he doesn't have a better word for it. Do you?

Um...I think the word you're looking for is more like "undiscovered", "novel", "new", or something like that.

"secret" means that it is hidden on purpose and not supposed to be shared with others.

I don't have an issue with a particular word this guy used, but rather with the fact that his post(s) are so horribly unreadable. It actually hurts my brain to figure out what he means, and in some cases I legitimately have no idea what his gibberish is supposed to mean.

Do I need to have a RDM, or is the phalanx only IF I have a RDM?
What does "carefully aggro" all mobs mean? If I'm aggroing all of them, that doesn't seem very careful?
How many mobs should I pull at once? 3? At least 3? No more than 3? Up to 3?

So...I think his horrible writing skills detract from what could be a useful guide, and it's incredibly relevant to point out how his writing is ***. I also think it's reasonable to ask someone who's putting out a "guide" to write it so that it's clear.

To cap magic haste with WHM haste (OK, can get this from BRD/WHM or GEO/RDM or GEO/WHM)
and BRD March (BRD can cap haste by themselves)
or GEO haste (GEO can also cap haste by themselves)
and can with RDM GEO

So...the suggested setup is NIN with...what? 2 buffers? WHM + 2 buffers? RDM + GEO? Is RDM one of the "buffers" in this lineup, or do I need a second buffer? Is WHM one of the buffers?

It's written like trash. The whole thing from top-to-bottom is filled with horribly written, unintelligible nonsense. The "tips" that do exist are like "did you know that Tachi: Jinpu makes SC?" and "You can not switch into your WS gear to avoid doing too much damage." which...yeah I guess if it's your first time playing FFXI this could be great advice.

This post was obviously made with the intent of helping people, which is what the forum is for. Also Aragan is one of very few people who puts effort to help new / casual players in the game with things like Vagary (something most established players would never bother to do).

When you act this way towards someone who obviously isn't a native english speaker but obviously has good intentions, all you're doing is making a hostile environment for people who may be reading and are then scared to post anything.
