Race Change And Gendered/Racial Gear?

Hey guys,

Thinking about doing a race change, curious if there's a way to swap out my Dancer AF once I do since it is all technically gender-specific? I couldn't find anywhere on the website to specify if they'd do that for me or if there was some process for that? I really don't want to have to re-upgrade all of it to +3 again...

Read the official instructions, there is a way to swap them. I just don't know it off hand.

Edit: it's near the bottom of the instructions, basically after you do the race change, you just have to trade the gear you want changed to the same ancestry moogle, to choose another one.

There is. They need to be in your inventory. Anything gender-race in your inventory gets swapped automatically. If they aren't, then you will lose the opportunity to convert them.

Please note that some equipment can no longer be worn after changing your character's race or gender. If you change to a race or gender that does not fulfill the equipment requirements, the equipment will be automatically unequipped once you finalize your character's appearance.
- Except in certain cases, any equipment that can no longer be equipped due to changing your character's race or gender (such as equipment that is only available for a specific race or gender) cannot be exchanged for other items.
Exceptions
You can trade the items listed below to the Ancestry Moogle in order to receive an item that meets your new requirements
