Im not sure what you mean with Aria/Hmarch? Assuming you want to sing 5 SV songs, you sing 3 with Miracle, then 2 with Daurdabla and replace those 2 with Aria and Hmarch. If you want 4 songs, then 2 with MC, two with Daurdabla and honor+aria.

With Cheer you can use +1 pants to match +4 instrument and has no problem at all to overwrite any non Cheer song right away.
Minor note but Cheer songs will also overwrite any Cheer song as well. Nothing can block a Cheer song because it's impossible to have a longer duration.

I have a question about fast cast. Would a SMN with capped ML with /RDM get access to the Fast Cast III job trait? If so, would that plus the staff cap fast cast all together? Wanting to make sure I understand the math correctly.
EDIT: Or am I reading this completely wrong and the cap is actually 80, not 40?

Asking for someone else. How much of an improvement is the Wizard Rod for a Black Mage using a Marin's Staff +1 or unaugmented Bunzi's? I have seen some comparisons to R30 Bunzi, but I doubt my friend will get anywhere near that soon.

no, only thing to overwrite 15 min songs, would be 16 min songs.
The question I was replying to is talking about REPLACING 15 minute songs, not putting them on from scratch. AKA: you have 5 15 minute songs. How do you replace them with NiTro (11 minute) songs?
If you want HMarch or Aria, you need to use dummies to get rid of (read: lower the duration of) some of your MC songs.
Say you have VMarch Mad Min 5 4 3:
NiTro -> Gjalla Min 5 4 3, dummy gear VMarch Mad, HMarch, Aria. Now you have HMarch, Aria, 3 minuets, all with NiTro duration.

However, through all this, I narrowed it down to a single answer. SE must be nerfing the hell out of us soon. After all these years of never giving us anything really cool, why else would they be doing this now??

TBH Miracle Cheer will probably move more copies of the game for new mules than anything they've done in years

It's a very nice jump to instantly pretty good bard using/boxing.
No carn building. No gjaller. No duration gear. No duardabla. No aeonic. Just boom, in.
Full time nitro 4 song, with absolute zero effort. No resinging every 3 minutes while you work on better gear. It's pretty tasty.
I'm making (at least) two new characters today, just for the purpose of replacing bards with miracle cheers, if something happens to my current ones.

Ok I get you now, but ironically it's basically almost the same as putting them from scratch though. 3 with MC (the ones that you want to leave on), 2 you want to replace with daurdabla or anything else beside MC, then Aria and Hmarch unless you only want to add aria/hmarch then just the second part.
Additionally if the one of the 5 MC songs you want to replace is with shortest duration among them, then you dont even need to replace it with low duration version. You can just play Aria or Hmarch and replace that song (song that is different than 5 you have on, will always replace the one with shortest duration), then sing low duration for second song you want to replace and sing Hmarch/Aria.

Anyone get the Greatsword for RUN? I won it from the lotto some two years ago. Do not recommend. The PDL is pretty high, 20-25%, but it doesn't have anything else going for it. Would have been nice if they gave it like +20 or even 10 emnity, but nope.

Has anyone picked Ice Brand? I'm pretty sure it's the best offhand to pair with Crocea Mors for Sanguine Blade, Red Lotus Blade, and Tauret for Aeolian Edge, (Obviously you still gotta use Daybreak for the Light Based magic WS) Someone correct me if I'm wrong but iirc fTP on those WS is lackluster, so the INT WSC and MAB seem good.
That said, I'm mostly torn between the Shield (Zomg Saboteur + other neat utility), Bard Horn (I'm lazy), and to a lesser extent Nuking Club (Seems maybe good?)

Not true though, because if you have 5 MC songs on, say the ones I posted earlier: 3 minuet, madrigal, vmarch. These are all 15 minutes.
Then you cast 3 minuets, sure that's great. You cast 2 songs you want to replace (say gavotte and pastoral) and you just *** 1 of your minuets and replaced it with pastoral.
You need to cast EXPLICITLY vmarch and the madrigal you have up, in dummy gear. Any other song will replace the minuets. Infinitely, until your vmarch and madrigal get down to sub 10~11 minutes.
So while it's not dissimilar in the amount of songs you cast, it is very different in the choices of songs you are casting.

Miracle Cheer or not, the large majority dont know what the *** to do. So nothing changes.
(To be fair, it is irritating)
Some of them have the pattern down, cast this in order, and it will work. But if you made them manually macro it out they'd flame out.
