Another FFXI Private Server.

It was created cause Spicy was a dumbass at the time and used his connections to get it spread everywhere, he asked for this to be made and got it.

It just feels purposely antagonistic. I don't know what the conversation was to get them their own section. Doesn't do what they intended though, I know that much.

It's never people on (server) talking to people on (server) or about (server) it's just civil war within 2 posts no matter what.

Also, while I'm here, my commitment to "the forum population should reflect the actual FFXI community" is why I don't kick the PS people to the curb, and funny enough it's the same reason I haven't kicked you to the curb either, Mr. RMT, so maybe think real hard about asking too loudly why I allow antagonistic people who flagrantly break the ToS around

Private servers are for people with shitty tastes. Cleaned it for FFXIAH community.

Private server players do not care about this forum at all, they have their own community discords and they stick to them.

The only people who care about this forum (from a game standpoint) are people who play retail. There is no greater community for FFXI and there never will be, each private server does not like each other because they see each other as competition and most retail players don't like seeing talk about ps.

Well since you're trying to grow your channel you should know people that watch PS server videos don't tend to watch videos about retail, and vice versa.

So, basically some ***happened in the past and the usual ffxiah-karens are still triggered about it and are making it everyone else's problem and judging an entire community based on the actions of a handful of ***. A handful of *** who ironically originated in the retail community in the first place.

I came on ffxiah just to use the power search & set builder to look for gear because it's infinitely more convenient than the wikis when I saw the post about private servers. My initial reaction was just excitement over the fact that private servers are talked about here and I thought that was awesome. I thought it was incredible that ffxiah had space for private servers and that the communities of people who love XI, regardless of era could come together. I even checked the server dropdown to see if there were listings for the private servers, wondering if maybe FFXIAH had added a way for people to browse the private server auction houses. Then I clicked on the thread and was brought back down to reality. In hindsight I realize it was stupid of me to entertain the thought that this thread could have been anything other then what it ended up being.

I still haven't beat bumba but tonight might be the night I feel it
