By implying that removing 2% fast cast makes the job 2% less effective, then that implies that 100% of job efficacy is tied to fast cast%. Which doesnt even make sense because fast cast caps at 80%.

You're right it's actually 2% less effective at spell casting, by less effective being slower.
By some definition of how much spell casting affects efficacy of said job, you have your metric.

Then you get hit / interrupted during the cast and none of this mattered anyway.

If you were 2% faster you would not have got interrupted..

I always that it was interesting that SE warned us that using equipsets 80-100 could cause memory to become fragmented and swapping gear in that situation would cause a delay in swapping gear.

What realistic scenario is drk casting a T3 nuke?
Snce you asked..
Sortie: running off solo to clear A box while the other 5 members are elsewhere doing the same.
Interrupt, interrupt, interupt, interupt....now your HP is yellow and your other slept mob is waking.
There is always a situation.

So. If you're doing A box, that means you're fighting Acuex. So Dread Spikes works perfectly fine to keep yourself alive. By the way, Acuex take full darkness damage, so a DSNV Drain 3 is enough cushion to protect you from ever getting clos to dying, when paired with Dread Spikes.
Shockwave overwrites itself to re-apply sleep on targets, so waking adds should never be an issue. Technically, you can pull 6 and just spam Shockwave and kill them with spell when they get low.
You should have a general Fast Cast set on DRK (so you can cast Endark, Drain 3, Dread Spikes etc) faster. If you time your cast just in between the moment you are hit, your spell should go off before the monster's next attack. You also have weapon bash and stun. That aside, you can use a simple T1-2 nuke, which is much faster than a T3 and will likely kill the monster. You don't need to MB the A mobs, so it's only necessary for you to take it to 3-5% then just spam T1/2 until it's dead. Doesn't require a max nuke set to accomplish, but you could even use Nyame if you want to save a set. Nyame has a ton of MAB in the 5 slots alone and will crank up your T1-2 damage to a few thousand, enough to whittle it down.

What does a drk specific T3 nuke set even look like, accessories wise itd be stuff you would use on other jobs anyway, feet are likely emp+3 which is already your WS piece, body maybe the relic body which you may not have a use for otherwise(still a nice fc body but alex body is multiple jobs) unless you were going all in to reis augmenting some odyssean or something buukki's correct that nyame competes for most slots and is already in use elsewhere. Most you'd "need" then is a nuke cape, which you may already have most of if you wanted to play with SoD or general ele WS, which is also niche but think would see more value than a nuke set
Forgot alex body also has good nuke stats so the fallen body is completely replaced by it

Probably this one sitting out there from 2023
ItemSet 393463
Sacro body is 60 mdmg/40mab/25macc/+5int, fallen's body is 60 mab/40macc, same fc. I agree with Sacro body being a more efficient slot since more jobs, but i don't know the breakpoints or which one does pure higher low-tier nuke damage.
Regardless, if you want to make a set, there's a purpose for it, I just don't really think you need to overly go out of your way to do it. Just macro it to your normal Nyame-filled WS set from another job. If the purpose is just killing a couple fodder here and there, optimizing it isn't necessary. Now, I do understand wanting to do most damage possible, and I don't want to discourage the idea of getting more equipsets, just saying you can still make a drk nuke set without more equipsets using whatever you already have.

Wouldnt it be more efficient to just do T2>T2 instead of trying to spam T3 anyways?

Probably, the whole argument is a terrible example of why having a nuke set for drk is a "real problem". I was just pointing out to Sahzi who is fully vanilla how he can still make it work even without the extra equipsets.

All great info. I do indeed use my ws set for nukes, which is mostly all nyame.
Greater point here, though, is the obviousness that I'm just a crappy DRK. I've dedicated the limited equipsets to other jobs that I enjoy much more and have never really fleshed out DRK properly because, as the title header asks: a request for more equipsets.
I just don't have the slots left so never really bothered to learn the job properly.
Great feedback, though, and I'll take it for next time.

I knew a player who would use external scripts in order to make macros for his jobs because he was not willing to use gearswap. I could be wrong, but //console exec or something is not a windower command, is it? Thought you could utilize scripts (with longer macro lines) outside of the game using the vanilla client, but maybe I am misremembering. This would give you more than the game's native 6 lines to run any command, and wouldn't require you to use equipsets for certain macros since you can dump them into notepads.

There is no console in the vanilla game. There are no scripts outside of the game for vanilla.

Scripts (/console exec) is a Windower enabled ability.

Those are just classic windower macros, make a .txt file of commands and /console exec it into a vanilla macro or keybind
