New Asura Endgame Static LFM

NEW Endgame Static lookin for members

Returners are welcome as long as they're geared enough and know the jobs they wanna bring inside out.

Server: Asura

Start time: MONDAY to FRIDAY at GMT20 til 22/23

Weekends optional, either GMT20 or also GMT15 start time for extra events (Gaol NM kills etc)

Content: Sheol C segs + Sortie (ABCGEF+Naaks to begin with)

Goals:
- building a prime weapon (prog til 8 boss runs, then once ppl get stage 4, farming Aminon HQ etc)
- farming segs 5 days per week at least
- climbing Odyssey Gaol NMs up to v20 initially, then going for v25s eventually.


- voicechat required during sessions (can keep mic muted if you wish, but gotta listen)

We're lookin for skilled teamplayers who know what they're doing.

Not lookin for unaware players, stubborn giant egos and those kind of players.. we'll be able to assist with gearswap, luas, addons and other things if needed.

In general, as long as we all behave like civil human beings, we'll have patience to explain and assist our members/applicants.

Just don't take it personal if you get rejected before or after the trial run, we don't have a lot of time to play and thus we're trying to create a group where all members are on the same page, while trying to avoid wasting anyone's time.

For Sortie we'll need:

WHM WAR RDM BRD and COR still, i'll either WHM RDM or DD as necessary.

Need H access unlocked pls.

For segs we'll need
WHM WAR (or DD) BRD COR and a Tank

For Gaol NMs you'll be required to have at least 3 geared jobs!


There's a slim chance that we'll go for magic burst setup instead of melee.. we'll see how it goes with melee first.

I’m interested, My RDM is well set up for 8boss and aminon+4boss runs and my cor is well equipped for seg farming. I can bring igeo for odyssey Gaol fights too where it helps but need more work on it

Gaol: we're currently starting the v20 gaol climb! Yesterday we did xevioso v15 and could start the v20 climb, killing Dealan-dhe v20.


We're still looking for some definitive and reserve members:

(Reserve members being people who can't attend mon-fri but they could occasionally join to cover for other members if they can't join!)

For Segs, definitive members in need: we could use a Tank (one of us usually can either COR or PLD for segs/gaol etc), BRD (we got 1 BRD for Ody Gaol clears, but not for sheol C runs yet afaik) and 2 strong heavy DDs for segs (WAR, DRG, SAM, DRK mostly)

Reserve members: Tank, BRD, DDs, and WHM reserve spot are still open if you're interested.

Segs start time monday to friday GMT 20pm, weekend optional.

For now we're not using voicechat most of the time if we're doing segs and we're skipping sortie until we're 5-6/6 not to waste ppl time /yelling n pugging. (But eventually we'll use voicechat for most sessions!)

Bump and update:

We got all t1 and 4 of the t2 v20 down!

Today after segs we'll go for the crab and the plant with magic burst setup!(Actually we did read about a melee SB zerg for victribell v20 raskovniche that we will try today, while for the crab magic burst setup all the way.)

Notice: this upcoming monday we won't do Gaol NMs due to irl things! If everything goes allright, we'll start T3 v20 climb from Tuesday with Kalunga v20.

I really wanna thank all the players who replied to the /yells, that did help us clear the v20s til now! We are having a lot of fun playing with you all <3, thanks

Hopefully in 1-2 weeks we'll be done with v20 climb and thus we'll focus much more towards building the Sortie-side of the static while ppl get their r25 ody items RP'd!


That being said, our static network of players still need:

Definitive members: (start time 20pm GMT monday to friday, weekends optional) BRD, Tank or COR, 2 strong n capable DDs for sheol C.

Reserve members (players who can't attend most days but sometimes will be available to cover those who cannot attend the sessions):
BRD, RUN (or PLD healer for ody and in the future Sortie), strong DDs (DNC, WAR, SAM, DRG, DRK), RDM (backup heal + adds CC for ody gaol), GEO (with decent nuking set), a good WHM reserve is also appreciated in case i'm missing!

Bump and update

Tonight finishing v20 marmorkrebs then starting t3 v20. Tried 5 bumba v20 attempts as well and got it down to 19% max with invincible and 2 deaths/whm slipups... Eventually we'll get it down!

Bump n update:
after 3 days of casually failing few daily attempts at Marmorkrebs v20 (was rusty on SCH, had to get into the mindset and practice it while trying diff setups) we killed it yesterday!

Did fragmentation with sch into last stand + chant du cygne as multistep, bursting thunder over it. Many things can go wrong and you absolutely need players who can coordinate between each other in order to make it happen. After some bad tries, yesterday we had a proper lovely try where everyone did well enough to clear with some spare minutes!


Going to start with T3 v20 today from GMT 20pm (segs + kalunga v20 kill hopefully, ngai right after)

We're always lookin for more people to join our "network of players", for now we're mostly pugging various spots during event time, but for v20s and Bumba v20 we're gonna need all the help we can get from other knowledgeable players!

Looking for decently geared:
Tank, BLM (for ongo v20 and multi ki v25 strats eventually), RDM, BRD (dd/ws sets), strong non-WAR / DRK DDs like DRG or SAM.

Reserve members: WHM COR and GEO

Once we're done with the v20 climb we gonna focus much more on the Sortie side of the static/network!

some days ago we killed Kalunga v20, next Ngai or Xevioso v20, then the rest of t3s.

We still often end up /yelling for members, but it gets increasingly difficult to find good pug members.

Start time as always is 20pm GMT, usually Sheol C farm to begin with, then Gaol fights.

We still need these roles/jobs:

Segs/Odyssey:
BRD (sets for DDing are a MUST), Tank, COR (DD sets are a MUST), R25 DDs (since DD slots got a ton of competition usually and we already got well geared r20 reserve DDs, we give priority to r25 DDs). Depending on what we find, we'll flex to other jobs.

Seg runs average reward target: 1.200.000 gil. (This doesn't mean "1200000 gil or bust", but If we'll often end up making 900-1m runs, we'll figure out what's wrong and adjust/react accordingly.)


For GAOL NMs instead, the more well geared jobs you have, the better! Do not expect to easily get into a static or to fit into every single NM/kill if you only got 1-2 geared jobs.

Jobs we usually need for V20+ Kills:
good RDM (since it can get hella busy for RDM in Gaol fights)
BRD (with DD sets if needed)
pimpy/strong DDs (mostly piercing n blunt)
good BLM (for Ongo and later on v25s)
Tank or COR (since our Tank can switch to COR and viceversa)



We'll focus more on Sortie farming once the v20 climb will be done!

At that point we'll do 20pm GMT segs + Sortie after.



One last note regarding gearsets: for sheol C and Gaol v20+ (but even for Sortie if ya ask me), going glass cannon is NOT a good idea. I've also seen "veteran" pugs sometimes doing this.. and while on paper/spreadsheets/calculators it might seem worth it to gain a liiiiittle bit of extra dmg/tp overflow etc, in practice as a WHM, 90% of the time i see people with proper sets evading MOST debuffs in sheol C from trash mobs, while those going glass cannon will keep getting Paralyze, Amnesia, Sleep, stats down etc etc... so if you ask me, it's WAY better to potentially deal 5% or even 10% less dps in a vacuum while evading debuffs and unnecessary risks, instead of going class cannon to gain some dmg that you'll lose anyway as soon as you get debuffed (or if you die). Even by using Remedies, it's a dps loss to use items so I really don't see the benefits of going glass cannon in those particular instances.

This week i'm getting Idris finally.. next V20 we'll go after will be Xevioso probably, then Ongo (or Mboze) and finally Arebati for last before Bumba.

Also got freaking ammurapi shield finally yesterday lol, so I can stop using Akademos on SCH XD

After v20 climb, full sortie attack!


Edit: funny how i wrote segs target reward 1.2m gil... Yet we keep finding pugs who are either first timers or deeply unaware of how to run segs, we got 700k yesterday LOL...by a miracle.

Yup, In Sheol C, I had a PUG where:

1. the WHM very visibly had little-to-no fast cast set and idled in a warp ring the whole time. Didn't open a single chest either.
   

2. Tanks pull subsequent families but the DDs don't have the DPS to keep up.
   

3. DDs initiating a room pull (instead of a tank)
   

4. DD decides 2 songs is enough and rushes the Agon Halo on the bottom of floor 1.
   

5. DD decides he can one-shot Dahaks and *suprise* ...misses one and causes a full dispel. (I don't care how good you think you are, one family worth of RP is not worth the performance loss of a full dispel. This means a full dispel is lost segments on future floors where the mobs are actually worth more).
   

6. This PUG was wild: a full party of ML45-50 players full-clear floor 1 and 2 in 12-13 minutes....then wipe on floor 3. Everyone re-raises and touches the exit for ~7k segments. For some members in this group, it felt like the consensus was that 7k segments was pretty good for only 15 minutes of actual fighting.
   

It just seems like the bar for player performance is being lowered across the board (i.e. for ALL levels of skill for Sheol C). :(

Maybe SE will bless us with Sheol D, E, F?

Btw that's the start time for segs mon-to-friday, we'll do Sortie after daily segs but as i've said, we won't be focusing on Sortie until we finish the v20 climb!

Last week we skipped 3 out of 5 days due to various irl emergencies, while weekends are off for now.

Still going for Mboze, Ongo and Arebati V20 before Bumba v20!

We're lookin for decently well geared players who are actually experts at the jobs they play. We're not gonna be able to carry other people, so make sure you know what you are doing when proposing yourself.

Start time monday to friday gmt 20pm segments sheol c + v20 kills, once the v20 climb is done, we'll focus more on Sortie. (It doesn't matter if i say this.. ppl still keep asking about Sortie.. xD)

Keep in mind that this is not a super hardcore static (yet), thus if sometimes you have irl emergencies it's gonna be allright anyway.
We don't require ppl to have r25 ody gear ready, but we definitely want our members to be able to play their jobs properly.
As long as you're a good player, r20 gear will be more than enough, most of the time.

Segs reward goal: 1.2m gil at least (when we don't get pug trolls 0 dps BRDs etc lol)

Members needed:
Tanks, good DDs (with subtle blow set as well for mboze), good BLM for Ongo.

Update: This static is dead for now, i joined an old LS's friend static since 1 month ago and we're running Sortie + Segs everyday (we might need a very good DD or WHM to join us if the leader stops dual boxing WHM..), start time around 22pm gmt

Anyway..all v25 t1-t2 down! Bumba v20 down! Got a stage 3 Foenaria!

Time to finish RPing all the sets we need before going for v25 T3 kills!

I'll also make free RP sessions eventually for t1-2-3 v25, prioritizing noobs to help them get their r15-20 sets now that i can pop em myself.
