This could be used as a melee piece for mages, and gives Regain for jobs without access to Valorous Mask or Ratri Sallet. Seems underwhelming.
Null Loop: DEF:30 HP+50 Accuracy+50 Ranged Accuracy+50 Magic Accuracy+50 Damage taken -5%
Not as defensive as Loricate Torque +1, but the high accuracy makes it a better swap than Combatant's Torque. Shame it has no multi attack or store tp. HP+50 is not far off Dualism Collar's +60 HP for things like Dread Spikes, and Paladins HP cheat set.
Null Belt: Accuracy+30 Ranged Accuracy+30 Magic Accuracy+30 Evasion+30 Magic Evasion+30 "Magic Def. Bonus"+3 "Regen"+3
One of the best pieces. Considering Eschan Stone is still being used with MACC+7, this adds a crazy +23 more. It makes Asklepian Belt obsolete for jobs without Engraved Belt (10 extra Magic Evasion), and I do not recall any other waist piece with Regen on it. Amazing!
Null Shawl: Accuracy+50 Ranged Accuracy+50 Magic Accuracy+50 Evasion+50 Magic Evasion+50 "Double Attack"+7% "Store TP"+7
The more I look at this, the more I want to get rid of my Double Attack and Store TP Ambuscade mantles. That is a lot of accuracy! And nothing gets remotely close to the Magic Evasion. Yes, Ambu capes can get DA+10, and Store TP+10, but we can't get both at the same time with that level of Accuracy and Magic Evasion.
The only thing letting it down is a lack of PDT, but we have SO many options it can be easily worked around. This is quite the inventory saver. A late X-mas gift from SE. Please let me know if you see any other uses.

Idk man. Take another look at it when you get a chance and evaluate it for individual jobs. Has high defense, dt, mdb, hp, vit, mnd, and haste. Haste can be used as an alternate to R15 Gazu maybe in some melee sets where you need the haste that Nyame helm doesn't provide and you didn't choose Lehko's scenario ring. The HP, VIT, and MND make it superb options for White Wind and Magic Fruit, if you can make up the Cure Potency elsewhere. High HP/DT swaps are also very good for stuff like RUN Inspiation FC sets so your health doesn't dip too much. Ditto for other jobs. The high acc/macc/dt combination makes it an amazing swap when you need to land something while also being protected. I can come up with so many sets to put this in. This piece is amazing imo.

Absolutely, the mask looks better the more I look at it. Completely forgot about the Unmoving Collar, I'm not on the game at the moment, lol. The magic accuracy on that neck is very nice as well. Maybe not for RDM, but other jobs for sure.
I'm happy that SE gave us some decent rewards, and looking at the Cloud Of Darkness thread, the drop rates seem good, too. I will definitely be taking my LS to do this fight soon. More content!

Hello! Does anyone know how we figure out what is the current Monthly Adventurer Campaign please?
I noticed that sometimes Crest (seals) dropped twice on the same mob but nothing has been posted on the FFXI official website. Is the info listed somewhere?

It's 10% Haste and 10 DT with 50VIT so it's very decent for getting beat on. I'd probably put it in my RUN's idle for gathering mobs. 50MND and 100HP means it probably makes into my RUN/BLU healing sets. If they are going to stop their normal gearing progression as a DD, they might as well give RUN more utility gear to work with.

If your job's +2 neck doesn't have macc on it, then the neck is just awesome if you're attempting to do anything with a m.acc check like stunning on DNC or /DNC or doing absorb tp. I'm probably going to play with /BLU on PLD and RUN to see if these pieces are enough to be able to use chain affinity to make little SCs for my party to nuke on.

This neck is also better than every +2 neck in the game for pure macc. Some have other stats (RDM enfeebling duration/potency), but in terms of magic accuracy, this thing is BiS regardless of what job you're on. Unless you're critically low on dStat, then I guess technically one of the necks could be better but that is incredibly unrealistic, IMO.

I guess my question becomes, what circumstance do you see this as being BIS? most mage jobs will be utilizing the stats to greater effect than their melee counterparts, so right out of the gate, I know that point, but for mages? scholar and black mage for example will still use their jse necks for the mab, and burst bonus. Clearly geo would make use of this, as would whm. summoner has no use for this realistically, bard I don't know well enough to gauge, but I have to guess that 50 magic acc is superior to 25 chr, rdm you already mentioned where the jse is still better as well. would you agree with this?

It's a great swap for macc for hybrids when meleeing.
Also a bis piece for meleeing mages, they still need melee accuracy.

Anyone that wants to stun or land a debuff that is generally hard to land for them would do better with this than anything else in the game. The only reason to mention RDM is because they get a bunch of potency from their neck and don't really have that problem landing spells so the normal 30 macc +15 stat + potency is going to make this look less attractive.
Defense down with armor break? This neck.
Leg sweep
/BLU magic with additional affects
Debuff ninjitsu
Flourish1 category for stun or gravity
Ranged accuracy for tp and WSs for non-RNGers
Melee sets for mages or really ANYONE that is having accuracy issues, it even has 5DT/30def/50HP to try to keep you safe.

Because you stick to what is commonly used because it doesn't have accuracy issues. If you're trying to use parts of jobs or subjobs that are written off because there isn't the gear to support their accuracy, then this is the neck and probably the belt and possibly the back as well that you would need to address that.

Large chunks of additional acc are incredible for non-ilevel weapons like K.club or magian TP Bonus offhands.

Don't need MAB for breakga, sleep 2, sleepga, bind. Absorb-tp, paralyze, slow, gravity, silence, repose, blind, poison II, burn, impact. Depends a lot on the spell, which is why I specifically said bis for macc. Not great for brd because of the +songs on whistle, but incredible for absorb-tp. Shouldn't matter when under sv threnody, but for newer groups with slower kills it could be helpful for Aminon.
It's definitely going in a lot of sets for WHM, SCH, GEO, BLM, BLU, and a few for RDM BRD.

I went PLD/BLU to KRT for Locus Bats with new accessories. I landed RLB > chain affinity > head butt = fusion 3 times. I landed the defense down on frightful roar, gravity on magnetite cloud, and bind on ice break without using burst affinity. Head butts stun lands normally as well.
I attempted to land RLB > CA > Sickle Slash =/= gravitation because the spell failed to activate aka failed accuracy check. And then it was time for event do I'll try it tomorrow. I'm pretty sure all the blu stun moves have accuracy bonuses so other chain affinity spells might not land consistently. There are 2 other compresion moves to try out.

Physical blue spell acc is derived from your mainhand, BLU main vs sub makes no difference there.

Fun. I landed Sickle Slash and Terror Touch a couple times to make gravitation but missed another one. I'm pretty good with this result, it's mostly for doing things like opening SCs in Omen during card farms.
