Hello!
Our group has an open spot for a GEO (or SCH), Tues/Weds/Thursday, every week and we enter at 8:30PM EST.

Requirements:
Discord, voice chat (but listen-only, is fine too).
Idris, if coming GEO.
H-Access (if you haven't done 8-boss before).
Enter time: 8:30PM EST, Tues, Weds, Thurs

We primarily do the magic strat (RUN/BLM/SCHx2/GEO/COR), and we have also farmed HM Aminon too (PLD/DNC/COR/BRD/RDM/GEO). If you have a competent RDM/DRK for HM Aminon, that would be a perfect replacement, but is not a deal-breaker for us). For the right person, who is coachable and amenable to new information, we'll train you well.

Our group has a permanent open spot for an experienced, REMA Corsair. We enter at 8:30PM EST. We do 8-boss, Magic Strat 5 days/week (Mon-Fri). Our path is DHCBAEFG. We do HM Aminon as needed and this COR player can fit in that party composition as COR as well, if we do HM Aminon).

Some qualities we are looking for (but we can help and coach you):

  • You need H Access, can't do 8-boss without it.

  • Able to Solo B objective, 5 WSes.

  • Ability to extend SCs (Fusion > Exenterator, Frag>Last Stand, etc)

  • Able to solo 50% of the Botulus HP, typically with Leaden Salute



As a person/player, we really prefer these qualities and they are much more difficult to change, so we put them up front:

  • Mature and respectful of other people

  • Jokes are fine, but we are all adults. So, no yelling, shouting, excessive diminutive talk, etc.

  • Be coachable and open to learning new things

  • Sortie is a team effort.



In our Sortie magic strat runs, the group's effort is greater than any one individual contributor. If you think you are the best player on the server, that your keystrokes are kisses from God, or that you simply piss excellence, then this group is not for you.

When we occasionally have to replace a person or two, we are always respectful of new members, and we expect this COR to be the same way too. We also, remain calm and chill, as replacements get accustomed to our route and order of operations. We prefer voice chat through Discord, but listen-only is fine, too.

Hi folks,
We have an open spot for a RUN due to a server transfer. (This person was a really great player and I'm sad to see him leave Asura).

We run Sortie route DHCBAEFG, Magic Strat, 5-days/week, Mon-Friday 8:30PM EST (and 8PM EST on Fridays). We expect you to:

  1. Know how to apply Gambit + Rayke for optimal magic damage

  2. Be self-sufficient when tanking, i.e. use meds (panacea, remedy, silent oils, powders etc).

  3. Extend Fusion (Dimidiation) and Gravitation skillchains (if possible, Fimbulwintr)

  4. ML30+ and Epeo would be nice.

  5. Discord presence in voice chat is required, but listen-only is fine if you can pay attention as well.

  6. Please use push-to-talk. The noise-bleed can be painful for some of us.


Our group operates 5 days/week and we takes 1-2 weeks off every 3-4 months. We are very chill/consistent and use discord/voice chat instead of a linkshell.

Some rules for how we operate:

  1. We respect each other, don't raise voices and don't yell at each other.

  2. We joke around, have fun, but don't make personal or vindictive attacks towards other members.

  3. We work out discrepancies and issues like mature adults.

  4. If you make a mistake, just own up to it and we'll work as a team to correct it.

  5. You can ask questions at any time and even override people in voice chat to do so.


Please don't apply if:

  1. You have an attitude problem or are prone to shouting.

  2. You have a god-complex or simply believe that your key-presses are divine kisses from God.

  3. You have other commitments in-game that conflict with Sortie.

  4. Any aspect of your personal life interferes with gameplay (like if your angry wife is throwing dishes because you're gaming *again*).

  5. Seriously, I cannot stress the last point enough. If you forget to feed your kid or on the verge of homelessness, please don't apply.

  6. Inconsistent work schedule prevents you from making events.



Real-life is more important than a game. Please don't sacrifice your marriage, your job, for a game.

Having said that, priority is given to those who can commit to this position for longer-term. Message me, Discord or in-game and we can have you try-out tomorrow.

Edit: We farm Aminon Hard Mode for Mesos as needed. Ideally the RUN in our magic strategy would act as a PLD for farming Mesos. However, we all have many jobs and can adjust for that as needed.

Still on the lookout for a 6th person to join our group. Jobs can be RUN/SCH/GEO/COR. We do Hard Mode Aminon typically yearly, in that we farm 8 Mesos and then go back to Magic Strat.
