That's true when you ask something like "does this taste bad" you may influence the other observers.

But if we don't have the slightest clue whats wrong, we need a general idea. Ask in a more specific, but not leading way.

The site loads, random pages load, the message boards load, without a specific thing to look for everything is fine.

"Does this taste bad?" implies you want/expect a negative.

"Does this taste good?" implies you want/expect a positive.

"How does this taste" makes no implications about what you want just the aspect you are looking for a response to.
though in person the way you say this can still steer the response.

Though a site having issues or not should be a more objective question than subjective so i dont think pointing something is wrong would greatly affect the answers

And why didn't you use a vpn when you did it.

I have no idea. They claim that:

The last time this happened (to a moderator) it was caused by the BitTorrent client they had installed.

We'll remove the block but you might not want to use your PC again until you've uninstalled whatever it is.

Sounds almost like your IP was DDOSing gamefaqs server, but that's just a guess and I'm not a networking person. What security do you use? Any other unusual behavior?

I use these to check if the ip I'm using is bad news. They'll let you know when it got bad.
