Unable To Flag RUN Empy Gear Quest (Epiphany)

Hello everyone.

For context, I used a deed voucher for full RUN AF+2 and full RUN relic gear. I was able to flag the relic questline and traded the necessary items to get the relic feet. Based off of BG wiki, it says I only need 1 piece of relic to start empy.

When I go to Octavernost to try and flag the quest, he does not talk about anything but his dad and how his training is half as easy as his dads.

What am I missing? Thanks for any ideas.

Can't use vouchers as substitutes for doing RUN or GEO questlines for armor. It's dumb but you gotta slog through it.

Did you go to the library?

If I'm reading correctly (and maybe my brain aren't wurkin) but I read it as you could use deeds in place....

Yes, but you still need to talk to Hestefa while wearing five pieces of Run artifact armor.

I did not go to the library bc I took "Destiny's Device is not required if you obtained the Runeist set via Deed Voucher." as I didn't have to? Am I misinterpreting this?

-Speak with Yestin-Ovestin at the Inconspicuous Barrel target at (I-4) in Western Adoulin and trade him to have the following items crafted:
You must wait 1 game day per commission and may request a new piece immediately afterward

I did talk to Hestefa while wearing the AF armor and I was even able to get the relic feet from Yestin-Ovestin. Which should have completed the relic quest and allow me to start empy.

There is a step not well documented in either BG or wiki that advises sending 20M gilz to my account.

Testimonies have been saying this effectivelly unlock many quests requirements.

Try that step, maybe this will fix your issue

Hmm idk, according to wiki if you finished the relic quest and have the KI Futharkic Concepts in Flux you should be able to flag empy quest.

You might need to re-do the artifact quest if stuck.

Just make sure you got relic feet from Yestin-Ovestin and not the voucher.

If you already had it when you completed the Yestin-Ovestin quest you won't be able to get it again and the quest won't be flagged as completed.

I stored the entire relic set I got from the deed so I could get the feet from Yestin and still nothing. All I want is my RUN empy v.v

I'm pretty sure you have to do the entire quest lines, you cant skip using vouchers.

Yes, I made this mistake personally and the only way to get it resolved was to do all the quests.

Yup, you guys are completely correct. That was my thinking and my mistake. I started the quest from the beginning and was able to complete it. Thanks for the info!
