I would be glad to see such an update, any update with information. Until then may as well waste time trying out stuff.

I am assuming but I don't think it is something you can do solo because of positioning. It's not like a hydra where you can get to the heads by moving around, because ixion trys to face you at all times.
Especially because ai, conal attacks etc. I hate to beat the dead horse but until we see the horn break I think we should focus on that. Meaning 2 decent dds or 1 dd and a tank that can bounce hate from the side of the face. I don't think it can be done from directly in front. I've tried to comb through old ixion related threads but could not find too much, just an old strat about the benefits of keeping the horn. Then again afaik all the other conditions had pretty much zero hints pointing at them, which is infuriating imho. Had enstone up full time at least 2 of these fights, so if it is related to stone, enstone doesn't seem to count

Also for all of you focused on magic...
I am surprised but I don't see 50% element of the day in the list of something along those lines. I see lots of other type of magic testing. Tried SC dmg 50%+ front and back. No dice. Ground strike to leaden.... darkness did over 50% both times.
Has anyone tried just 1 person WSsing on it?
yeah pretty sure I did that a few days ago. Got rid of august and had my COR just burn it down with leadens and wildfires. other trusts woulda been monberaux who i guess has some weird "his stuff is a WS" stuff .. but im also pretty sure ive seen a COR do all the WS for an SC and ppl burst off him.
Im starting to doubt its a 50% dmg type deal at this point. Which would be annoying. Once you have to open up the entire playbook of possibilities, wouldnt even know where to start. At this point I really think it is map position based. The En-Gravity would make this "difficult", as would linking with Veelas.
The problem is that F is pretty big... 2 Pixies in the first room, maybe kill there? Worth a shot if you have time.
yesterday i pulled it from the last big room, with veelas.
i dont remember them linking E) Vanquish Esurient Botulus using Weapon Skills from behind it.
G) Vanquish Gyvewrapped Naraka H) Vanquish Haughty Tulittia after doing X-Amount of Indirect Damage through the form of AoE's targeted on another monster. (approx. 50%) F) Unkown Well if E G turn out to be opposites with the 50% rule. What would be the opposite of H? no race can do >50% total damage
or each race needs to do >10% SE getting wild I got it: 50% crit damage
Ok jokes aside, maybe 50% SC dmg? There were a couple tried already (16, 20, 27, 28), but its hard to tell from those notes if they actually broke the 50% SC dmg threshold. 50% SC dmg sounds baked, but so does 50% indirect dmg, and thats a requirement for H.

How big have our communities magic burst tests been?
Didn't the unicorn ambu mob absorb TP moves when he was charging up his horn shooting move or something.
Maybe doing TP moves only in a certain window while he does his horn charge thing. Or WS only when he's not charging his laser. one thing I wondered about was the last darkness. Like horse was at 21%, then I deleted it. 99999 darkness but some of that was "air DPS" as it were. Even so.... even if only idk 10K of it counted, still feel like the condition was satisfied.. cant seem to just drop the ss in here lol wants a URL w/e
Skillchain 39996 58.3% COR 282025 41.1% SCH stuff accounted for the other 4-5K Even if you take away the entirety of my last 99999 darkness, i'm still comfortably over 287K Im starting to veer into dumb things like kill one elemental then kill horse with the same element of the one u just killed. So you wanna kill w leaden, get a dark ele. kill with seraph, grab a light. At least then you'd have a say in the matter and could in theory set yourself up for success.
Dragging and killing in a certain place seems at least like it could be on the table. There's next to no non-magic aggro in there. Whether or not the early chest reports all accidentally managed to kill it in the same spot seems dubious. And I would imagine that other than on top of the bitzer or the boss portal, it's probably died everywhere else by now. if its some type of 50% dmg deal like the others.. im kinda out of ideas :P. free nuking it down 50% seems ludicrous. Id be annoyed if SC dmg worked from the left or the right. We bursted 60% off him from the front yesterday. Other directions not so much. But good luck bursting it that much melee way. I mean it's SE so maybe they'd just *** us over that way but I cant envision it being something that you couldn't do melee or mage way, showing up on darksday or w/e shouldnt automatically mess you up, etc. It should be something you could show up and just do in a minute or two successfully each time provided you understood the assignment. And on top of all that, basically no one has accidentally done it. Thats why I thought SC dmg % at least had a shot.

oh pretty sure the suggestion of just not killing it doesnt work either. I mean tbh I didnt lol at the idea too much lol. We kill those delve mobs often at the end of a run if time. If horse is in that room and comes with them on the pull, he's just chilling there aggroed while we drop all the nakuals first... so at least 2-3 minutes of being aggroed and not dying.
I guess whether or not you might have to S/I and stare at it like G bitzer could be a thing. But yeah... All of the elementals in that area are the ones that represent the level 2 skillchains. Maybe we have to do Fragmentation, Fusion, Distortion and Gravitation on it?

I submitted a bug report on the official forums. If it's not a bug, then ideally SE will respond. If it is a bug then ideally SE will list it as a known bug. If people "thumbs-up" the report, I assume it would increase the odds someone from SE will review it?

More observations and more things ruled out, but still no chest.
Went in BLU this time. First off, I was mistaken, or decieved rather, and there is an aura. F Ixion peridoically charges his horn with an animation that makes lightning shoot to the top of it, it also gives him an aura (that looks like darkness). That aura drops when he uses Wrath of Zeus, Lightning Spear, or Dansel Memento(This is why I wasn't notice the aura, because I was enfeebling the hell out of him on RDM forcing him to use DM often). About the aura. He seems to only use Wrath of Zeus while the aura is up, but if it drops he is still charged for lightning spear (sadly preventing this isn't it though as I killed multiple times tonight without him ever using it). Twice, when he put up the aura I disengaged and kited him to another room. When he caught up to me, the aura was gone but this still didn't give me the chest and I'm writing it off as he stopped and used DM and dropped the aura. I also tried breaking the horn with various things while aura was up (elemental damage, spike WS damage, Crit WS, etc.) You can extend the aura for quite a while to test things by disengaging while it is up and feeding him not tp. Tried subduction spam until he had enough tp to use Lightning Spear at one point. Also tried spells/WS from behind using EV as a tank. Tried every element during aura as well, he is very resistant to light with aura up. Things ruled out: No damage while aura is up, spike damage from front/behind while aura is up, elemental wheel while aura is up, WS during charge animation, WS during TP moves, spells during charge animation, spells during TP moves, stunning(seems immune), running away during WoZ, landing a melee hit with no weapon equipped, 6+ various WS while fighting, 30 spells landed during fight, forcing Dansel Memento 10+ times during one fight. Next trial, the main thing I want to try is avoiding both lightning spear/WoZ all together, as I noticed when I was disengaging he would generally use DM and drop the aura, but LS would come 2-3 WS later so I was only avoiding WoZ. Going by Illuminate's list, has anyone considered:
1.) Killing Ixion with the same element(s) of the Elementals that he spawns/appears in? 2.) Killing Ixion with the opposite element(s) of the Elementals that he spawns/appears in? 3.) Killing Ixion after pulling him to Elementals opposite to the ones that he appeared in? 4.) Obvious one: Killing him, in the group of Elementals, where he stands? Just grasping at straws here.
