Did you transfer from Asura to Bahamut? Regrets?

So if you term filter Dennis/Locta/Boamna, there simply aren't any merc /yells aside from the infrequent Kujah blurb. So that is it, there are literally 3 sources of yell spam on Bahamut.
It was 0 in 2017 and 2 in 2022 when I returned from a break. Now there is 3????
No hope. ;(

There is a large population of JP players that won't invite Non-JP...
I'm convinced Odin is only still seen as a top-three population server due to the JP population. But don't expect them to play with most NA.

I think the problem is only the language.
If NA could talk/understand japonese i dont think there would be a problem.
But learning japenese requires massive time and effort investment

Most buyers play on Asura thats for sure, its the best server to RMT a mythic or 95 99 ag an empy and not forget the 50mill aeonic clear lol. Most of the biggest buyers and I could name a few would never leave.

1) Use forums to find a static that you fit into - correct jobs and timezone.
2) Move to their server and have fun.
If you just want to casually play solo go to Bahamut or a quiet server. If you want to join pickup groups go to Asura.

Classic "not technically" response, my small group transferred to Bahamut from Phoenix about 5 years ago. We wanted a bit more population, but even at the time Asura was off-limits for us, and this is back when people were still parroting that Asura was the go-to server. It's somewhat vindicating seeing how general opinions about Asura have shifted over the years to mostly negative.
I'm not trying to talk down to people who think Asura is great and love it there, I'm glad it's for you, I won't judge people for having fun their own way, but no regrets coming to Bahamut instead. Nothing wrong with Phoenix either, just wanted a little more activity.
Shoutout to Kobaine. Miss having his stubborn *** around.

Have played on both Asura and most recently Bahamut. Honestly both have their selling points as many have mentioned throughout the thread. I've been on Bahamut for about two months now and have no plans to go back to Asura for what it's worth. All about personal preference though

Probably because most other gil buyers are not as proud nor advertise the fact they are gil buyers quite as much.

Idk dude, it smells a lot like humble bragging how much disposable income one has and that they have no self respect.
Like a guy proud of the fact he spends thousands a month on onlyfans or on scantily clad women's twitch streams for the privilege of their existence being acknowledged for all of 5 sec.

I'm currently on the fence about transferring to Bahamut. I need some people that have switched to sway me one way or another. Do you regret your decision or stand by it? Is the lesser population more forgiving for not having r25 gear? How about the pug situation. I probably see 4-5 decent shouts after I sift through the relentless RMT/MERC spam here on Asura. Is it similar on Bahamut? I recently came back from a break about 5 weeks ago. Besides new player linkshells, I can't find a group to run with around my playtime. Are you in any recruiting shells that run 6-10pm CST? Does everybody want to merc this or merc that? Is it a struggle to get anything done, due to lack of people? Can anybody that has switched from Asura to Bahamut fill me in about there decision, I would greatly appreciate your time. Thanks.
