Does this mean San d'Oria is going to lose Ronfaure region at a high degree of regularity?

For those that haven't been - it's a Locus lovers dream on Map2; every mob is now a Locus something. Seemingly very nice for all job types - piercing, blunt, magic, ranged!

I logged out there just to look as blm/rdm; Worms were easily silenceable - didn't link. A small group of magic bursting would do well here with aspir etc.

There was a mnk soloing bat's - they weren't aggroing or linking.

Just feels like such a good place to gain some exemplar points now - which makes me think Ronfaure up for grabs.

Well, dangruf already got 99 mobs, and was never a "popular camp"

But who knows. They already 99'd Zehrun, so maybe Palborough.

Korroloka, definitely, it's a wide open path they could stuff 300 locus into easy.

Between Crawlers Nest, Thickets, and now Tomb, I really don't think we need any more camps. Unless they are catering to Asura? Is every camp full on Asura? That's one of the only two variables I can think of that would warrant MORE Exemplary Point camps. The other variable is just them wanting people to scratch nostalgia
itches on some of these mob types. Get some crabs or mandies in the next camp and we're good on nostalgia though.

I usually stick to Promyvion Holla but it's so rare to see anybody else in Promyvion.

Bahamut, JP primetime:

20 in Thickets
22 in Crawlers Nest
21 in Tomb (including myself with a party of six)
0 in any Promyvion.

There is plenty of variety to choose from, whether you want piercing weak, slashing weak, blunt weak, hybrid weak.

Has nothing you do with Asura or having "enough" camps. They are making level adjustments to a lot of older zones, primarily for some of the missions, but additionally for MLIng. It seems like they intend to turn many of the rarely visited areas into ML camps, or at the very least, the TVR storyline flows through those zones ski they make adjustments to level correction accordingly.

As far as MLing is concerned, It just gives people several options to choose from (just like the old days), doesn't matter how many there are. The more zones you have, the more versatile party comps can be because different monsters to build strategies around. They aren't adding monsters to every single zone though, just ones they have targeted specifically for partying, so it's not an overwhelming amount of camps being added every few months.

If they are scratching nostalgia itches, I wouldn't put it past them to make EP camps in the Boyahda Tree and Bibiki Bay. Can't see them doing the same for anywhere containing plenty of beastmen, though.

Duh.

If you let the losers get there and find a good spot they won't pay for services. The hustle is nonstop. Logged there, ready to go at 03:00:01

Anyone got a Signet to test out the conquest point gains from the mobs in KRT?

Am curious if it is a good opportunity to farm Conquest Points.

Am getting loads of Imperial Standing from Locus Colibri (600+ per kill I think) so wondering about Conquest Points.

(EXP/10) * Region Modifier = Conquest Points

I think I was getting around 6500 limit points / mob. So probably around 700 conquest per kill or more depending on region ownership if the math is right

BG Wiki link
Code
(EXP/10) * Region Modifier = Conquest Points

EXP: Any Experience Point Bonuses are applied where EXP is

    Region Modifier:
1 = Region under your Allegiance control
1.5 = Region not controlled by your Allegiance (other nation or beastmen)
1.6 = Player has a Moghancement that increases CP gain.

This could encourage people to actively switch to other nations for KRT master leveling with the 50% bonus. Could end up with KRT bouncing between the 3 nations on a weekly basis.

Edit: Seems that the 1.6 Bonus is not stackable with 1.5 so not expecting nation switching. Not sure why the modifier is 1.6 instead of 1.16 since it is 16% extra conquest points.

Moghancement Conquest
Code
Grants Conquest Points at a rate of 16% of gained Experience Points instead of the usual 10%.

This Key Item is the same effect as Moghancement: Nation Conquest
Does not stack with the 15% bonus from enemy control.

Just tried a few kills and getting like 15% of the limit points as conquest points.

I had Moghancement: Conquest Bastok, which is suppose to give 16% conquest points. The calculations I did shows that it was 15%.

Limit Points Gain = 10920 (Chain XP bonus from Campaign)
Conquest Points Gain = 1639
% of Limit Points = 1639/10920 = 0.150092

Am killing bats on ML30 NIN, which are same level range as Locus Colibri (133 to 135), only advantage being food not getting stolen.

I'm going by the 4 different bots yelling KRT CP 2100/15m or w/e

Not actually going to waste my time finding them. But it's the old bone camp. You won't be able to miss them. One hundred and eight people there. That means there's at least 60 bots. (and/or buying from bots)

I'm confused, your message reads as if you're talking about an Exemplar Point bonus from your nation not being 1st, but that's not the case, it only gives bonus Conquest Points. The new camps seem good enough already, but I doubt anybody is going to go there specifically for the Conquest Point bonuses.

There is no examplar point bonus but the Conquest Points you earn from each fight is pretty substantial. With the Bonus XP Campaign, you will be getting 1.6k Conquest Points from chain. With sparks capping at 1 million gils per week, this will be the next viable income source for farmed gils since there are CP items that can be sold 1:1 for gils.

https://www.ffxiah.com/forum/topic/55687/converting-points-to-gil-similar-to-sparks/2/#3640111

i.e. Sandy owns KRT and pay you 1050 gils to kill a mob, while Bastok pays you 1600 gils to do same thing, would you switch nation allegiance?

In a surprise to literally no one, sandoria lost ronf this week

Now in sandy you have to run an extra 30 seconds to find the closest NPC to sell prize powders to as Corua can't be talked to, thanks Square

(bastok is the optimal city anyway, armor npc is practically on top of the sparkolades)
