Okay so I just bought a Harpe and i'm wondering what your guys opinions on it are vs. Sirocco Kukri. Either way my main/off hand is Blau Dolch so here it the math...
Harpe Sirocco
DMG 35 26
Delay 210 150
DPS 10 10.4
dual wield reduction 15%
Harpe + Blau Dolch
DMG 35+33=68
Delay (210+178).85=329.8
DPS 12.37
Blau Dolch + Sirocco Kukri
DMG 33+26=59
Delay (178+150).85=278.8
DPS 12.69
I know that Sirocco Kukri generates slightly more DPS vs. Harpe but the Harpe will pump out higher WSs then Blau Dolch main. Just looking for Opinions on these dagger combinations.

THF is a DoT job, so WS DPS is a less significant portion of your damage than TP phase damage. You're better off with the Blau/SK combo to improve DoT with minimal sacrifices to WS damage.
BD/SK with a decent Haste setup will out do Harpe/SK and gain TP faster.

An equiv amount of haste will affect both sets of weapons the exact same. Haste has 0 to do w/ it. Now obviously DMG35 vs. DMG33 isnt that much of an increase in WS damage either. I'm still testing it out to see which i prefer to use. Of course that 300k (on siren) could go towards something else.... Blau/SK easily pretty much always.
Don't forget that lower delay usually = better tp gain(this is a generalization but for our purposes, true). Tp/Hit is lower with lower delay weapons too, but (Tp/Hit)/time is still better. It just has to do with the way the formula works out. Also you effectively get another 1 from higher fstr cap on ws. The SK have an additionnal effect wind damage as well. It doesn't occurs so often but that's better that nothing, I think...

I've never seen this not proc. It's 100%, or atleast very very close to. Its not just dot, blau/sk has an incredible tp gain... so you are hitting more often and doing ws more often as well.
And yeah, the wind damage is 100% unless you are fighting stuff that resists wind. That wind damage is often overlooked.

And X's Knife does work offhand, if that's what you're getting at. Supposedly it doesn't work on SA/TA offhand though
It does work off hand, and I was getting to the fact that the X's has a base DMG of 34 and the blau has a base DMG of 33 during WS.
And it was a figure of speech. Lighten up. now for the question:
Pharpe / blau or Pharpe / sirocco or Blau / sirocco think of a merit situation where acc isn't an issue. (and skadi legs so blau/sirocco gets 5tp~ a hit) i know whats worked best for me, just seeing what other opinions are. I use P.harpe/blau for epeen purposes, but from what I understand, it parses nearly identical to Blau/Sirocco.

why use M.kris on thf when they can get 100% tp before an ability is ready, while splitting them? =(
