thats good to know, you guys split up at the start I assume?
We do H at the start then split up with Cor doing B, Geo doing A, Rdm/Dnc C and Pld/Brd D. Then D,A,B,C,Botulus,E,Aminon,F,G
If you do this then any time someone is away for the day you can only pug someone with D KI already?
That is true but our main group has been together for years working on 5th Stage 5 so having a fillin doesn't happen often for us. But for most groups who have people go in and out should do a different path
My groups been trying an A>AMINON>E>DCB>GHF route without anyone splitting off and we're hitting a wall unfortunately on time. I think its our aminon kill speed, the dnc on average is 70% of aminon but we do get around a 10 minute kill. I thimk we either need to split for temp items upstairs or find a way to get our kill.speeds down to 6 minutes
To do more than 9/9 you really need to get your Aminon kill under 6 min. Our kill time was 4:38 last night and we had to slow down twice due to TP drains hitting 300+. I'll get the parse later if people want it. We pretty much always have a fill in so our route ends at Aminon.
Interesting to see how other groups' damage splits are.
Ours was something like 50+% dnc, then cor and geo, then rdm, brd and pld. Geo with a good OA and aspir set can WS every couple seconds indefinitely. Rdm too but they have other things to do also.
Sometimes brd ahead of rdm, sometimes rdm a bit higher depending on who was on rdm.

Either or. We also don't split up since I'm triple boxing MNK GEO COR which would make it hell on me to try running 3 characters in 3 different directions, lol. Our Aminon kills are about 5 mins and we typically have only 1-2 mins left after a 9 boss.

You actually have one posted down in the thread, its one of the reasons I asked when I saw your dnc was 34%. What kind of absorbs do you generally want to see? I assume to low is also an issue

Once the initial debuffs are landed, RDM doesn't have much to do at all though besides DD. It should just be a constant cycle of absorb/aspir/impact/thunder5 as needed.

300+ is our red flag. Otherwise we are going all out. If we see an absorb for 300 we just wait for a couple absTPs to go off. DNC never stops. If you see a 380 you need to hard pause for a full round. All our DDs sit in STP gear with little to no DT.
