Nope I said the world and it stands. Ubisoft only had Splinter Cell as competition. Speaking of which...isn't Ubisoft a multinational company since they have offices all over the world?

They have office all over the world, still the "Worldwide HQ" is located in France, and the company is also born there.
Just like SE Main HQ is located in Japan. While the EU HQ is a part of a subsidiary Square Enix Europe.

ID software owns FPS
QFT. Railgun > *, also we don't play real FPS with a controller lol...
IDK..ID owns only because of Doom and Wolfenstein being the first true FPS, but I still bow to Ubi since I'm a fan of the Ghost Recon series. Ubi in the long run put out more quality games than any other company I follow.
Assassin's Creed is really great too and the sequel is certainly gonna be awesome. (which is rare nowadays)
AC is good but it has no replay value. Cant wait for AC2 though. Just want the story since the game's replay value is probably going to be like the first.
hell everyone used to drive on the left, the only reason people first switched to the right was because A) to be different from England and B) Napoleon's influence.
basically we started on the left so you could easily grab your sword with your right arm to kill any dodgy people coming the other way.
the only time its safer to switch from left to right is when countries over the border do it so people driving in the other countries are crashing a lot due to it.
for Australia and surrounding countries its just pointless.
England won't chance because we don't want to follow old enemy France and japan won't change because of china, the others might but the cost to change is so high they don't take the decision lightly.
btw England doesn't fully use the metric system
distance is still in miles here, milk in pints
height in feet and inches
everything else seems to be metric however
I'm French Canadian (Quebec), and I was taught the metric system in school because it was apparently the right thing to do, back in the 80s. However, my parents kept using that other system with the weird name so now if I need to measure things, I use some kind of measurement device, and it's a pain. I don't even understand my girlfriend's measurements ;_;
Speaking of which, she is studying Graphic Design and they're using those impossible to understand US measurements with Adobe Illustrator and it pisses us off because it makes no sense to teach us something in high school and then use the opposite in college. What the hell? Is this only happening in Canada? I certainly hope so, for the sake of the planet :/
Just thought I'd share.
Yes measureing is hard. Counting 1, 2, 3,... 9 is difficult. I feel your pain cause i to am a *** moron.
Dear "Rest of the World", If it wasn't for us, you'd be speaking German, heiling Hitler, and wearing Lederhosen. Signed, Uncle Sam
The other way of looking at it, if it wasn't for Americans reluctance to get involved then it would have been over sooner, thus saving millions of lives. But this is a topic that could go down him very fast.
U.S. was in the war long before the events of Pearl Harbor and before it "officially" declared war on Japan, who do you think supplied Britain w/ war logistics aside from itself (ammunition, war vehicles, etc)? Who do you think placed an embargo on Japan in response to its invasion of China?
It's so easy for the rest of the world to bad mouth the United States of America, pointing out little problems, even though every country has them. So.. eff the rest of the world!! WOOOO (except those starving kids with aids in africa ; ; we need to help them)

Should see it here in central Australia. Abo's trade their 6 year old daughters for the night so they can get some beer. African kids would walk 4 hours to school and back. Aboriginals wont walk 5 minutes or catch a bus to school. Quite frankly they need to be round up and shot. And if you knew them, you'd agree.

screw shooting them, dump them in the middle of a desert then the ***'s will have to learn to walk and appreciate ***
The countries in green that you see in the picture above use the metric system. Please adapt to me and stop using that incredible retarded imperial measuring system.
