FastCast 8 On Grioavolr How Long Did It Take You

im tryingt hard to get that elusive fastcast 8 augment on Grioavolr but so far been stuck at 7 for over 1000 fern stones.

If anyone got the 8, any idea of how many stones it took ?

yeah i have fastcast 78 (caped with lightsarts) and 11 Qucikcast( over cap) in my precast set.

but getting that 1 more fastcast means i can toss out inventory. ethier change mmy inyange bodyu to zendik rope. or change regal pumps to kaykus feet instead
Eith the addition of a possible volte legs i could get rid of loq earring as well.

So its more for condencing sets rather than hitting the cap.

you will only get +8 with dark matter or during dark matter campaign

But are they good reasons?

The base Grioavolr + clerisy strap +1 is also seven.

If you have the +2 neck, you can get 80% with 6% on grio with the following set:

The cath plug hammer seems to be an inferior options in my opining with its low fastcast 7 comapred to grio's 11.
yourset has no quickcast ( you might not like it and thats fair) and you have to compensate in other slots with extra gear for inventory loss.

again the reason im looking at getting FC8 on grio is not to hit cap in fastcast sets but to be able to reduce inventory and increase efficeinc in other sets as well. E.G. For arise grio is perfect with both fastcast 11 and conmp 5 it offers tremendous value in both recast timers and mp savings.

Thats also why i want to get rid of nanya body and go with zendiks to get the -13 enmity for recast on other spells that does not need body for potency of the spells.

Fastcast is for more than just your precast set




You sets only has a stable 78%
its pretty much what I have now
but as you can see it utilize a lot of extra gear that can be removed or changes to gear for other use if you get more fast cast

You regals for my orignal purpose of this thread is inventory-1 as if you get one more you can use kaykus boots instead or you can drop out you body and go with zendik. if you got the FC* on grio you could rop the extra earring and save inventory.

as you can see a lot of the stuff used in precast sets for fastcast are items that are reused in other sets to reduce inventory.
that why i dont like cathplug (I dont nuke on my whm mule) but find grio superioe for my playstyle.

But I need the 1 extra FastCast in grio that BGwiki says is possible with fern stone for "perfect" setup

I don't tend to aim for 78%, because mainly odyssey you can't have /sch. I aim for 80%. If you don't want to use regal pumps due to unity shenanigans, then probably best bet is chironic fern aug'd with FC +6/7.

If you want more efficient, you can get pinga pants and eliminate like 2 or 3 other spots.

The set above is not mine, I just made a set to illustrate that FC 80 was possible with less than 8 on Grio.

I do not use porter packer but im looking into it.

I dont realyl have alot of jobs on this mule. WHM its its main and higly optimized. BRD secondary. and a simple roller cor jobs

But still due to how much ive min/maxed WHM the 2 wardrobes are just not enough and im trying to keep inventory low without sacrificing effectiveness

I don't really know how to mega optimize whm and run out of space with only brd (significant gear overlap) and roll cor honestly.

There is something to be said for min/maxing, but there's just not that much you can do with whm on that front that takes that much inventory space.

WHM is one of my least inventory intensive jobs.

Again the point is not to get 80 in fastcast that itself is pretty easy. Its to get it in a way that optimizes inventory in regars to the reuse of other sets.

if you look at my working to sets and add in pinage pants nothing will be saved inventory wise i woudl be able to drop the strap so tha makes inventory gain a 0
All other items are still needed for the other sets. or are not fastcast realated but quickcast.


So again im not looking for a solution to hit 80% in fastcast. im looking for data on Bg wiki's claim of fastcast 8 on grio with fern stones

If you use weatherspoon+1 ring then you can lose the belt, scrap and the ring. 5% cure II isn't that important imo.

Repeating yourself does still not change the fact that this is not the point.
