How do you gain experience points in this new category
Talk to moogle by maat to unlock on a job that is mastered job points, kill any monster that gives capacity points and you'll get a 3rd xp variant.

<job> shows what it did before, so NIN99/WAR50 /check shows M.Lv.<lvl> <job> / Lv. <sj lvl> <sj> /sea <username> shows NIN99/WAR50 (or whatever the combo is) The status menu shows your job lvl/sj lvl, then current M. Level and Exp, as shown in the previous image In every case, your SJ is shown at whatever the level is. The only time your mastery level is shown, is in the status window and /check unless you specify different search parameters. If they stagger raising the cap out, they unlock the full 99 cap just in time for the 20th anniversary.
Trusts don't seem to change, at least HP/MP wise.
When you gain mastery levels, your skills need to recap. You can only get exemplar points on a mastered job I don't get why trusts would not get boosts.

Has anyone tried farming Exemplar Points in alliance set up? I wonder what the penalties will be like on points gained.

We went from 280-320 master chain 1 on apex doh gates with 6 ppl to 230-260 with a 7th if that helps. And yes eyeball but was pretty noticable.
