Once the person is gone, he'll be gone for a while until they reopen the character creation for Asura. He could simply make an alliance and farm since its 36 man content. But no I'm sure he founds its more profitable for him to go in solo and pull out 5 trust on each character and eat up half of the instances for Ambuscade and screw everyone else's play time just so he can farm 500M+ from just the Cloth alone in a month. I care little about the bots on this sever but this one is getting under my skin and has been for a while, and I'm not the only one, I've been on Discord countless times hearing about his for months.

The NPC mats are the main appeal, the bots obviously generate a meaningful amount of them or they wouldn't be there. Maybe it's not the best auto-farm in the game, but it's pretty simple to automate and the gear requirements aren't very high so it's not surprising people are using it.

Either way, if you can get responses to reports they're far more effective with char creation disabled. Now's the time to be using the STF. People will have banked replacement accounts, but there's a finite amount of them.

Is there even an Ambuscade line anymore? It was increased for a few days due to Vanabout but it seems back to normal now that everyone is done.

I did my homework, watch them enter for in though Rolanberry, every name has been watched when they exited to re-entering multiple times on multiple different days.

There are a total of 33.2m in penelope's cloths sold as stacks in the last month on Asura. The bots are obviously not there primarily for penelope's cloths. They probably don't even bother listing regularly, they just NPC and periodically dump what they have to someone else to sell.

Fock I was under the impression that was all one month for some reason, still doesn't change the fact, there in there 24/7 farming something making the Ambuscade lines be stupidly long.

Vanabout is still on, but in the last 30 minutes the bot just stop entering first time in over a week. Funny how just complaining about them in public with there names on blast can get them to stop.

I only knew of the connection because I used legion as a primary income source for a long time too.

it would have been mostly victimless if it hadn't been a shared instance with ambuscade (I used to get tells all the time asking me to stop soloing because they thought I was in ambu not legion).

that and it was nearly impossible to enter manually when you have a line of bots spamming the book. that process is coded very poorly by SE and often you have to retry trading the item many times before it lets you in, even if you're the only one around. similar to trying to beat someone into a crowded BCNM, but worse.

so I can definitely see a scenario where there are overloaded requests to enter legion going on at the same time that the server is trying to manage the ambu queue. did SE interpret this correctly for what it really was, or not? that's what interests me.

while theoretically possible, this setup requires way too much effort. ain't nobody got time for all that. you have to get new trophies every mul run, and while there is some demand for arise scrolls or honors for the reisenjima goblin, you wouldn't make it your primary focus.

It is kinda weird right, the only other thing I can assume is the individual has a crafting shield on some char and they actually use the materials. (Which is why we dont see many penelope cloths moving on the AH)

But how many penelopes cloths does someone need, on average (assuming max crafting setup) to make 1 full set of Jinxed Jackets/Bonnets/Kecks?

I guess there's a fair bit of demand for Jacket and Kecks, so I can see the appeal of it.

But surely a few stacks is more than enough to start saturating the market pretty fast right? I can't imagine you need to bot it that hard, bro's surely not crafting an entire inventory full of Jinxed Jackets on a mule or whatever right?

Cuz surely that would actually be the real bottleneck on making Jinxed Kecks, I have to assume legion runs produce more Penelope Cloths/hr than botting a shitty lottery NM to get Taffeta Cloths... right?

back when adhemar was actually BIS, you could move as many stacks per day as you could farm at 5-7m a pop. I'm sure they do have a shield account involved.

couple of things happened though. they added the materials to trove, which tanked the price a bit. new armor with better stats made it a lot less desirable.

even if you AH none of the drops, you can still npc close to 300k worth of junk (maybe lowball here, been a while) per hour. multiply that by 10 accounts and run it 24/7 and you begin to see the appeal, especially considering you don't waste any AH slots or need particularly good gear.

Kecks are still BIS preshot pants afaik, by a large margin (and their price tag compared to the other 4 slots shows it)
