I had very mixed feelings when I watched the show until the end.
Premise: I'm not really a huge fan of superheroes stuff or of the american superhero comic model.
I.e. a model where someone creates a character, and then other people create stories and different people draw them on paper, for years and years and years with no appearent end because there's always a new "cycle" of stories when the previous one is over.
I prefer the model of an author who creates something and draws it from the beginning to the end, and then it's over, period.
But with that premise said:
I was honestly constantly surprised by the show.
Let's leave aside the technical aspects of the show (which are really really poor).
It's like it's a teen thing full of teen stereotypes.
The school setting, the guy who has a super cool dad but he keeps it hidden and he's actually a nerd who has never been with a girl and he's so clumsy and get bullied but then blah blah.
Same stuff seen 2000 times, with the same love triangles, the same cliches.
BORING.
But then you don't have the time to think about how all of that feels "already seen" and stereotyped, that two seconds after the show surprises you with something you would never, ever, ever expect.
WTF, really?!
And that's it, the show has been like that for me from episode1 to the last one.
