The most important thing I learned from the Digest was hearing him pronounce "Gaol" and it was then that I realized it is pronounced Jail. Yeah. I was pronouncing it mostly like Gau from FFVI's name with an L sound at the end. Derp.

It is, given that it's in the place of Magic Evasion, and Magic Accuracy is listed earlier as +40.

Well that's specific

At last! We can continue to do our Elite Training augments once a day and get incredible stats like Ice Resist +2 MND-4 on our low level equipment.

The picture for the new boss looked like the place for Selbina HTBFs. It might not be connected to Gaol's instance at all. Hoping this wasn't their "fix" to the lag...

I imagine actually fixing the lag is going to take them the better part of this month if not more. Since they'll either have to recode the way they send trust list updates and make it more efficient (unlikely to happen) or redesign the way trusts are handled in the event (if it were up to me, I'd disable them entirely, tbh).

As much as I miss the olden days of kitty pants and haubergeons, vertical progression seems to be here to stay. I do wish it was less convoluted though. The arbitrary visible limit of ilvl 119 means nothing when you compare a lvl119 coalition armor piece to one of these new ones. Don't know why they didn't just keep making the number bigger since it's quite clear that we have gone several levels higher than 119 now.

I'm not so sure about DRG... without some more offensive-oriented stats like multi-hit, store TP, or even crit hit, it still falls short of how amazing Sakpata's is for its jobs.
