Have been MR7 from the beginning, did like 50 more RoEs, visited few missed zones, did 22 campaign ops, finishied 5 quests, got 100JP for BRD and got all blu spells to finish magic but rank is still 7. I'll try to get more titles.

Simply amazing the disconnect between "ive done so much stuff I should be rank 11!" and reality. Every single time some random rank 6 says ive done some extreme amount of stuff and I'm still rank 6, you clearly haven't. It's not that complicated. There's no specific locks or barriers or patterns you just haven't done as much as you think you have, even though there's a literal list you can check it against.

A good quarter of them are Campaign Ops, which I've done 17 out of 246.
Understandable that people don't consider each one of those on the same level, as say, doing a Nation Mission. It DOES work the same way as odyssey.
Kills has a cap. Just like leveling has a cap. Missons has a cap. Quests has a cap. Titles has a cap. NMs have a cap. You have to cap kills. And cap chests. and cap nms. to cap the full mm45. If you literally only did missions, you could never get above a certain rank. That's not a lockout, that's just you not doing other things. The primary issue is there's THIRTEEN THOUSAND things to do and only 9 ranks.
It takes a long god damn time to go from 5 to 6, and longer from 6 to 7 and longer still from 7 to 8 and even longer from 8 to 9 and the pool of stuff available gets smaller and harder. You get people that just start to get upset and start brewing up conspiracy theory *** instead of just accepting there's just a whole ton of ***they haven't done yet. Imho among those who care about mastery rank the majority will only push it to level 7 or 8 for now since that's where the earring starts becoming BiS.
Beyond that for most people the juice will not be worth the squeeze due to quests like lu shang moat carps, airship passangers... If someone doesn't plan to do everything it's understandable if they start looking for the path of least resistance even if there is none.

They're not looking for the path of least resistance. They're just trying to rationalize a reason to quit doing it.
I'm stuck at rank 7 and there's some mystery thing stopping me from ranking up. No Karen. There isn't. You just don't want to do monstrosity. I get your point and you didnt mean Monstrosity specifically, but for everyone reading this I want to state that Monstrosity was intentionally the thing I held off doing till the very end. I damn near ran out of things to do chasing rank 9, then did monstrosity and it pushed me over when I got ~1/5 complete with it. So take that as you will. Ultimately if you're chasing rank 7 or 8, i'd recommend doing all missions and big milestones 1st, then dipping your toes into everything. Getting a monstrosity 60 or 90, etc.

(That's what pushed me over to 9) For me, loading XIChecklist just freezes FFXI forever (not just "a few seconds") until I force close it.

Then I went out and collected 100+ titles by doing side quests and hunting NMs, and about 100+ RoEs completed. Before all this I got myself the Medal of Altana. And I'm still stuck at Mastery Rank 6. I use Ashita v4 so I did not bother setting up windower and XIChecklist, and I just use the titlecheck addon. My total title count is 737. 862 RoE completed. I have done All missions, crafting 110/70 capped, synergy 80, before I hit Rank 6. The pool of things to do is more and more limited as I have exhausted most of the easy titles now...

I did enough RoE to go from 581 to 710 and upgrade 27 of my atmacites from 1 to 15 (now all of them are capped) and didn't get any upgrade from rank 7 so kinda fail :/
Mule did about 50 RoEs with me and go from 4 to 5 though. Mostly Dynamis ones. What are the requirements to unlock the Splitting Heirs/Cracking Shells/Plucking Wings? Do you need to control all six zones, then come back the next week to take the stronghold? Or is it all done within the same week?

(No one has explicitly confirmed that this title is a rank-up condition, but if I could see SE using this title to gate folks from getting to some of the higher mastery ranks).

I went through similar, for me i ended up ranking to 7 by gathering trusts, I did a bunch of that stuff you mentioned and completed ALL windurst quests, level'd the fellow quite high with associtated jueno quests(annoying). Ive done quite a bit since but im at 674 Titles 808 RoE All Story done XIChecklist 7949/17472 While im bummed about only being 7, if you look at it from the Xichecklist perspective i havent even accomplished half the game, LOL, so Im not to upset, and MR7 hoxne really starts inserting itself into almost all WS sets Felgarr said: » So you have 1 or more Wave 3 bosses killed? Has anyone tried out the Black Race Silks (increases Hot & Cold Game jackpot chance) at all?
I've only ever tried the White (+1 dig for H&C) but I got the first jackpot of my life the other day and it did turn a failure into a success... so maybe it's worth it? Given how awful the Sky Blue Race Silks are compared to the Blue Race Silks, I'm wondering if it secretly has an absurdly high proc rate. Does the title for entering the Mog Garden only count 1 entry per day?
