RUN is great for AOE shockwave as well. Just remember, altho the WS sleeps, it is a PHYSICAL ws. Preload Temper and try to first get off a 300% dimidiation eith Epeo and you won't wont for tp the whole fight.
Opens up another DD to do real stuff to boss.

My group has had some trouble with aura abilities going off as well. I'm on PLD and initially in my full on tank set I was not able to generate sufficient TP reliably and I've also found that since the tank is holding two Paladin trolls a flash can be enough to cause your AoE to miss entirely (although my WS sets also leave something to be desired and probably could be specced for a great deal more accuracy for this).
We've also noticed that we think being hit by an an AoE does not reset the timer before the the aura appears, it only removes the aura. So hypothetically I think you could AoE one add with the aura only to have it appear on the other one a moment later.

So long as they both go down at the same time they will come up at the same time, that's why you don't hit each one individually
Well, not always the literal millisecond, the clocks are slightly variable

Good call, and lol yessssss on the reminder. I just figured that out myself the other night when our DRK was there using GS and had Shockwave ready if needed in case the BRD was slow on Aeolian Edge. Which, uh, wasn't very helpful the couple times he tried it because... WTF Shockwave feels so much like it SHOULD be magical with the sleep! But alas, it is not!

Yeah...I effed that up too the first run. That's how we learned it was physical (after checking wiki).
Another tip: have the cor open with tact. Roll immediately on entry, then fix chaos/stp before pull.
That nullsong from dragon is a showstopper. He's gotta go down fast.

Quetzalcoatl.Jakey said: »I attempted to duo VD with NIN + BRD, had no problem silencing the dahak with brd/whm in a great mag acc set (mostly AF+4), problem was once I switched to the boss it was too much aura spam and had to use nearly all my tp from both characters to keep auras down and not much dps was getting done so it just kind of stalled out and couldn't make much progress from there eventually it would get a bad move off.
Full groups should easily zerg it down, could probably 3 man it pretty easily, just need one person doing some damage on top of the set up I had and I think it would have been fine. Piggybacking off of this. Has anybody successfully 3boxed this month? If so, what was your setup?
I can handle Difficult pretty effortlessly COR BRD WAR with Val, Monb & Ygnas trusts. VD everything seems to fall apart though between Dahak and the adds destroying PLD trust.

comfortably did D 3box a few times thing month
tried MNK or NIN so far with BRD COR handling the aoe
I think I would need a rdm or whm,sch that can land silence as a fourth for vd
Apologies for lack of OP updates last month and a delay this month as IRL has a hold on me (completely forgot about an update until I noticed there was one when I logged in today). I hate to disrupt the good conversation flow on the old thread but for longevity I think a new thread is preferable.

Pleiades Ray: Magical Damage (AoE 10') Damage and Bind, Blind, Gravity, Paralyze, Plague, Poison, Silence, and Slow.
Supersonic: Status Enhancement (AoE) Gains an undispellable magic absorption shield and regen effect.
Also uses the following move while the aura is active on Very Difficult:
_____________________________________________________
~15 seconds after aggroing the monsters, each will gain an aura.
The aura will reduce damage taken and provide regen to the trolls.
The potency of this will increase based on the difficulty of the fight.
Removing the aura from both of the trolls will remove the aura from the Bruiser:
The Bozzetto Justiciar's aura is removed via preforming magical weapon skills.
The Bozzetto Sharpshooter's aura is removed via preforming physical weaponskills.
Defeating the Sharpshooter or the Justiciar before the Bruiser will mean the Bruiser may no longer have it's aura removed.
The aura will return in ~30 seconds.
Once the Bozzetto Bruiser has been defeated the auras will cease.
Bozzetto Justicar (PLD):
Uses the following moves:
Uses the following Spells:

Strategies:
VE-D
tl:dr
Tank tanks, 1 person spams aoe physical, 1 person spams aoe magical. get tp from the boss. That's literally it. Boss dies, kill adds. VD Standard Setup
Need to Silence the Zahak as soon as it's pulled, if it does Nullsong it's a wipe.
DD's get on the MB, Bruiser.
Tank calls out Auras on other trolls when they see them, then DD have to respond with an AoE physical or magic WS. VD SMN Setup
Still semi burnable.
2 SMN RUN GEO
Volt Strike.
Boss > dahak > 2x RNG during conduit, dont burn on pld either because it can block and at half HP it will use invincible
Conduit clears boss and leftover to kill dahak and one add, then normal BPs to deal with the rest. Confirming En-Water on Dahak
To confirm - running the note at 0:36 through OCR translation gives
"Dahak has the property to decrease TP when water attribute damage is inflicted, so use accession on rdm/sch and apply water"
