As a crafter this is irritating to see, and its all over the place for a while now. like does he expect to sell them all? could make a bazar bot or something to not look like a heat bag.

Yep, its why my shields are idle at the moment. Im just stockpiling mats.

I'm sure if you ask him, he'll tell you (just like any non-legit player) "I'm just very skilled". If that's Odin, he buys/sells a lot.

So are they. It's why Asura has had a half-dozen bang-head-on-keybpard-named accounts in the last week selling literally over a thousand medals each. They've been stockpiling dupe and cheat after dupe and cheat so much that they can afford to undercut the mats to you and still craft/stockpile.

Between that and people like Mypp/Blackhat cheating their way to a almost every shield, legitimate crafters do not stand a chance. Sell your medals, lockstyle your shield, and find something else to make money.

they pop up constantly with bazzar full of 100 byne, seems like more then bots could produce, and all the bots i see are fail. standing idle at entrance

^^ I dont craft at all anymore. Zero gil lost in breaks now. I gain through selling mats/weekly things and its perfect fine for me :)

I find it odd that someone with that many would be selling them 10M over AH average, if anything they would be selling them 10m under or less to get rid of them. Deflation is still happening, his stockpile is only going to lose value under normal circumstances. Are they all signed or just one or two?

That they are not doing that makes me think something else is going on here honestly.

Buy up stock from multiple servers and especially on Asura and stuff them all in your bazaar.

Create a shortage of stock on the auction house.

Demoralize HQ crafters into assuming they are duped or whatever and should just stop bothering to craft these (which makes no sense btw, if you crafted these yours are going to sell since this bazaar is way overpriced anyway).

Wait till buyers are desperate due to the above things.

Sell all this stock for 10-20m more than you bought them for.

The remainder of your speculation aside--Anybody who still has doubts about whether or not materials are being duped or these items were/are stockpiled from prior dupes and exploits is walking around with their eyes closed.

Guy either sold them all or took them out of Bazaar, at least according to the Rostram page here.

If that's the case then fair enough.

If not it's either to make more gil as mentioned or a way to hold a mass of gil in a legit fashion (can bypass gil cap limits with high price items). If I had a ridiculous amount of gil shared over a lot of characters I would buy high price items and store them this way to be able to cancel all the alts. The bazzar might just be a flex.

It depends on if they are all signed and what kind of player they are on I guess. Who knows, the high price point is very strange if they want to make money though. Nefarious items are usually sold far less than average.

It's mind boggling. Because to argue the other side of the point. Why would anyone with enough gil to buy up that many su5s; invest into an item they know was duped to the highest extent.

I dont think it makes sense that he bought them up. I couldn't justify buying up an item I know is mass produced hoping to control the markets.

yeah the people crying about crafted items tanking by 30% are conveniently ignoring medals/materials dipping by 60%.

The sparks nerf did cut some things in half (on our server) like AG mats but some items only went down by a small margin. SU5 weapons and some other high ticket items maybe saw a 20% drop. Most people's income was far more than 20 or even 50% higher with sparks.

It was fairly stable for a quite while after sparks nerf. Probably because people were sitting on a lot of gil and not much was actually removed from circulation. Gaol gear is a massive gil sink though, especially with potentially wanting multiple sets. That's definitely tanking prices a fair bit.

I only craft what I farm now. (dynamis x2 a week for example)

I tend to farm the other mats needed as well. Im stocking these up as medals go down.

As medal prices drop its been more intriguing to buy them.

Prices by server do vary a lot. It's not just sparks that affects price spikes and dives, it's duping too. One of those nasty things that some like to pretend doesn't happen.

I remember when some wyrm ash gear was duped and the price seemingly dove in half overnight.

DM was 1.2m last March. It’s 600k now.

Theres also some suspect behavior at 1:29:39 where Ygnas keeps getting drawn in, but doesnt actually move position. That one could be legit, but it looks sus.

He's using an addon. To be fair -- the way NA ping works it's almost impossible to lullaby it in NA/Europe without an addon.

Vanilla chat log is trash.

If youre stunning-like stuffs you should be using battlemod or using animation.

Obviously there are bots to stun, sleep and most likely that player used that, but the chat log per se proves nothing.

can't find a example of draw-in but iirc it always pulls you directly on top of the mimic (maybe the single target draw-in behaves different?), if you watch the clip ygnas even moves a bit while beeing drawn-in repeatedly and he always reappears exactly where he was at the moment of draw-in beeing used.

nice detective work there but lets be honest, is there really anyone who believes a streaming 6 boxer doesn't at least some of the time rely on all sorts of automation and stuff like ja0wait, anchor or react?
if he played all boxes halfway legit he'd miss almost every interruptable move and he'd be so busy with micromanagement that he'd have no time left to ramble or interact with his chat.
