...and The Worst NPC Award Goes To:

So ever since you were a wee little adventurer turning in Ears of Millioncorn to the slow-*** Melyon in Selbina to the current bane-of-your-existence, Oseem, as he continuously fails to deliver your coveted augments... we have all dealt with NPCs we are the opposite of fond for.

I know it won't be a barn-burner like a mammoth thread about Covid-19 or race riots, but I thought it might be a fun distraction to hear other people's opinions on their least favorite NPC. I'm sure there are plenty I've forgotten about.

I'd like to thank 18 years of me running alts through this game and turning in 24 stacks of Millioncorn to Melyon @ 3 at a time for the inspiration for mah vitriol here. It triggered me so hard this time that I went ahead and made a complain-at-cloud thread about him. *** old man sheep fu**er.



I'll start. I have hatred for the above-mentioned sheep lover, but what really bothers me are the NPCs with lisps.

I'm talking about you, Mayakov, you fabulous "Queen of the dance". (You did know that was who the "queen" was in that quest title, right? It's not Lilisette or Portia. Probably just dropped a mind-*** on you there.)

I'm talking about you, Mamaulabion of Norg, and your desire for any "thuper-dee-duper, overflowing with thpethial power itemth" to obtain the Summoner's Evoker's Ring.

I'm talking about you, Tiana, and your random seemingly important showing in the cutscene when you first arrive in Adoulin. Thankfully you all but vanish; only showing up maybe once more through all of the Adoulin quest/mission cutscenes.

All of the escort npcs in assault are tied for worst in my book. Either that or Ronglelouwhatever and Degenhard for their annoying RPS minigames.

Any npc that locks you into slow cs for routine items
