I wrote that is what will most likely happen when forced to clear them out, if they do. For all we know they could occupy Seattle for months. How long was that Occupy Wallstreet thing going?

And I don't think they have the permit required to peacefully gather and block city roads. I mean, I think you CAN get a permit for a gathering on city roads, and all that paperwork can happen. I doubt they got one to allow them to gather for days. I can be wrong though.

Billions in damage and setting back the communities they claim to be protesting to help back probably 40+ some years just through the socioeconomic damage to the communities themselves.

That's the part that saddens me the most. The hijacking of the protests towards riots and chaos has just destroyed the communities, ravaging the stores and in some cases affordable housing that can actually help communities as a whole (slowly) rise up out of poverty. How much of rebel's donations are actually going to go back into rebuilding the affordable housing that was torched in MN? Probably none. People are donating to bail funds not rebuilding the communities as a whole. Sure a couple lucky people are getting enough donations to have their shops rebuilt but most people affected by the chaos will be left high and dry.

Oh I don't think it'll be "SWAT" or a local police force. The worlds rebellion, insurrection and domestic terrorism have very special meanings to the folks sworn to "support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic".

The local / state Government has a very short period of time to quell uprisings before the Federal folks get involved.

Protests / rioting and doing typical illegal stuff is one thing, declaring yourselves separate from the Union is on a whole new level of stupid.

Trump should stay out of it till they flounder into Chaos and either ask him for help or fix it themselves, after they wreck things.

Best thing he can do for himself there is stay out. Like Presidents should do till asked for help. No matter what he does, the Media will say he's wrong. But if he stays out, he can have a better chance to "point" at City and State officials to rile his base up and possibly get some to flip to his direction for votes. That's the best case for him.

Worst case, they establish a Vegan Utopia proving him wrong.
