Reminds me of the dumpster fire George Lucas sold to Disney.
See, everyone won there.
Lucas got PAID.
Disney got a printing press for cash.
Kids got new stuff to enjoy.
And old nerds got to whine about something
As an old nerd who enjoys whining on this, the only good things I got was Baby Yoda, the ability to stream all 9 in one location, and a really cool CGI of a ship jumping to hyperspace being used as a suicide bomber. Gogo SJW.

Well, both things feed off of human suffering.

Disney makes an intentionally bad Star Wars movie (last one was literally twilight).
Hardcore fans *** explode.
Youtubers make videos about it.
Fans watch video.
Youtuber makes mad *** ad-revenue from the outrage video.
Youtuber is happy, even though they pretend otherwise.
Film goes viral cause of all the hate.
Casual film watchers consume product they didn't know much about before, cause of all the outrage.
Disney got lots of free advertising, but annoyed the minority of fans.
End result: Disney made over a billion dollars and paid very little on advertising, youtrubers bought a new car.
This is why they all keep making trash movies to annoy fans now

Morality scales with the amount of long term money you have. It reaches the peak somewhere between "a bit" and "modest" while it seems to get very flexible in the negative wealth or very wealthy. Morality is an individual trait. A person's moral standing differs irregardless of wealth accumulation. There are equal amounts of "moral" people in all classes (as a percentage of population, not a sum total of population) as there are "immoral" people.
Class and wealth have zero to do with morality. It does actually. Morality is a luxury good. You can only afford it when you have extra to spend.
The longer you spend in the poverty line, the more flexible you become with moral issues.
On the other hand, when you have a lot of wealth for a long time, you are less likely going to share it. At least not equally and not without some sort of trade off. You would feel a lot more entitled compare to everyone else. ...did you just imply that poor people are immoral?
/reads again.
Yes, yes you did. Either you have no concept of morals or you want to equate wealth to morals. I'm guessing both.
Do yourself a favor and read a little bit about human psychology and behavior. I think you need to combine that with your own statement about morals being individual thing.
And yes class, wealth, opportunity do play a factor. Now whether that is more or less... well that's kind of a matter of perspective and would best to say different. That said some of morality is fear of repercussions whether it be legal, financial or social and very wealth/influential people can certainly ignore those better than most I don't believe it plays a factor at all. A rich person is just as likely to have moral tendencies than a poor person does. They also are just as likely to have immoral tendencies than a poor person.
An *** is going to be an *** regardless on how much they are worth. Actually a scientific study made ... IDK, 8? 10? years ago said there is a positive correlation between immorality and wealth.

This is actually scarily accurate. Spite watching makes as much or more than fans watching.

I won't believe you unless you do. Because I can say that there's a positive correlation between *** and hippies and you would have to believe me.

Also, Rogue One was solid. Agreed, solid, if uninspiring.
Contains the single best scene from the series too.

For fun, go and check how channels like CNN covered the Ferguson riots in 2014, compared to how they cover it now. Also those riots were far worse, just looking at the videos.

To my knowledge, CNN nor Inside Edition have reported on the death of people like David Dorn. They just got a simple snippet on their websites but no sensationalized videos on youtube. Imagine that, I wonder why its such a crime to report every important occurrence. If I'm wrong I'd like to see the video to be happy theres some middle ground with this media as they love to incite violence.

Minneapolis City Council Members Want To Abolish The Police
"Several of us on the council are working on finding out, what it would take to disband the MPD," says Minneapolis City Councilmember Fletcher.
Several members of the Minneapolis City Council want to disband their city’s police force and are investigating how this goal might be realized.
“Several of us on the council are working on finding out, what it would take to disband the MPD,” says Steve Fletcher, a member of the 13-person assembly that serves as the legislative branch of Minneapolis government. The decision to abolish the police force comes after George Floyd died at the hands of a Minneapolis police officer, May 26. Floyd’s death triggered a wave of destructive riots throughout the city.

Minneapolis City Council Members Want To Abolish The Police
There's a fair amount of research into what a mid-sized city with a greatly reduced police force would look like. Minimal beat cops, mostly have a unit focused on investigations, etc. The tldr is that trivial offenses don't get punished and people have a higher level of overall happiness.
There's nothing even resembling what a major city with NO police force looks like, and the people trying to extrapolate that data are lunatics.
The constant talk about de-arming police is a non-starter, too, in a nation where any random citizen might have The Arsenal of Freedom™ in the back of their pickup truck.
The correct answers are to strip qualified immunity and require more training. Maybe stop giving them tanks.
By Jetackuu 2020-06-04 17:29:41
look at all the statists thinking we need the police
edit: Jet wants a tank

So yea been out of the loop, has the rebellion began?
Is sublime gonna make a 2020 edition? What cities are popping off? What was the "last straw"?
Stay tuned for more excitement in 2020....
Edit: diverting the latest corona shenanigans from random thoughts.
