Praising the government for increasing taxes and controlling the free market, are you a democrat now !?!!?!

By that logic, does fighting against it make you a conservative now?

Its going to be a shock for you, but I vote for the canadian conservative party.

Not really, because Canadian Conservative is basically American Liberal.

Has anyone noticed that all the Boston @RedSox have done is WIN since coming to the White House! Others also have done very well. The White House visit is becoming the opposite of being on the cover of Sports Illustrated! By the way, the Boston players were GREAT guys!

You really need to read non-partisan sites.

I wonder what others he is talking about? The Cubs lost in the first round last season, the Eagles didn't make the playoffs after winning the title, the Caps lost in the first round after winning the title, seems like the WH curse is worse than the SI curse, but not quite as bad as the Madden Curse.

Far from it, but they are certainly much closer to the center than your conservatives.

Center is relative. That's why it's hard to find even two political spectrum maps that agree with each other (seriously, they can't even agree on what quadrant certain groups being to).

One thing that is consistent is that most people think that their view is in the Goldilocks zone of the spectrum (usually towards the center).

That being said, I found several examples that placed Obama's views as being close to those of Canadian Conservatives, hence my comment.

More like California adding "requirements" to be the US President, like they just discarded the US Constitution as not even applying to them anymore.

Think about that for a moment...

Objectively, you are the ones bullying China with your tariffs because you can't compete with them on the free market ...

With just a few tweaks, we can commit major human rights violations to gain an unfair market advantage too!

You deal realize that China steals all the technology it's companies sell right? The Chinese government basically owns all tech rights that it acquires and then sells them to it's manufacturers . Look at American made products like electronics then look at their Chinese copies. They are the same exact thing as our products but just have a different logo on it.

They steal or take all tech that comes to their country.

Please if you read anything read the bolded text.

Quote:
Our studies show that since 2006 the Chinese government has been implementing new policies that seek to appropriate technology from foreign multinationals in several technology-based industries, such as air transportation, power generation, high-speed rail, information technology, and now possibly electric automobiles. These rules limit investment by foreign companies as well as their access to China’s markets, stipulate a high degree of local content in equipment produced in the country, and force the transfer of proprietary technologies from foreign companies to their joint ventures with China’s state-owned enterprises. The new regulations are complex and ever changing. They reverse decades of granting foreign companies increasing access to Chinese markets and put CEOs in a terrible bind: They can either comply with the rules and share their technologies with Chinese competitors—or refuse and miss out on the world’s fastest-growing market.

Yep, the Chinese companies then make a low cost duplicate of it. See the Iphone clones.

https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/03/06/top-iphone-x-clones-from-china/

https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oukitel-u18/

Their cloned cars

https://www.hotcars.com/20-chinese-copycat-cars-we-wouldnt-touch-with-a-ten-foot-pole/

From back in 2015, Chinese clones Microsoft OS

https://www.onmsft.com/news/neokylin-os-chinas-new-windows-xp-clone

Macbook clone

https://www.gizchina.com/2015/12/07/windows-macbook-clone-cheap/

These are just starters that I could find in a few minutes. Everything from medical devices to clothing to factory equipment, if the Chinese government can get their hands on it then a copy of it will appear by a state affiliated company.

The goal of these is to undermine international competition by ensuring that Chinese citizens buy Chinese made goods while everyone else also buys Chinese made goods. You can't compete fairly with someone who doesn't follow the rules and flagrantly breaks them.

It all comes down to this, you don't have to manufacture everything in China.

The pay pennies, no osha, non significant labor laws. That's why manufacturers love those eastern asia countries.
