How are we supposed to take these particular tantrums then? I mean, I am laughing at them. Not worried about him closing the border at all, as I have said, its just a distraction, a publicity stunt, a giant temper tantrum because he isn't getting his way. Closing the border would have no impact on illegal immigration.

And Vic is now completely oblivious to political theater. Let me guess, the endless calls for impeachment when the Left doesn't get their way is neither a distraction, publicity stunt, nor temper tantrum, even when we all know it will never happen. Everything is totes legit when it's someone on Vic's side, correct?

Awww, that was a nice deflection. Anything to avoid calling Trump's ***, right? It's ok, we will continue to laugh over here. We welcome his calls for healthcare reform as well, a winning issue for us. A disaster issue for the GOP. By all means Trump, keep talking about immigration and healthcare.

Lol, you still think you can control the topic when I hit too close to home? Sorry bro, create your own thread if you can't take the heat.

lol, more like missed by a mile. There is no heat on me or anyone over here on the left, Trump has ensured the spotlight stays on his theatrics. He is obsessed with getting the attention, and we are happy to call out his daily outright lies and laugh at the spin his supporters try to conjure up. I mean, he doesn't even know where his own father was born.

Your willful ignorance is absolutely staggering. If you really think the Left has no problems, you are beyond help. Nausi at worst can't hold a candle to your obliviousness at your best.

That's why you have to actually read it, but I will summarize. Nausi's link cites exactly zero people claiming windmills cause cancer. Its nice when he debunks himself.

To give more context, Trump was just trying to attack wind energy last night because he hasn't been able to stop it from killing the coal industry. He flubbed it, along with voter fraud and where his dad was born.
The link references the claimed phenomenon, the fact hat the claim isn’t referenced to an actual person doesn’t mean that actual people don’t claim the phenomenon exists. The fact that there is an article about the phenomenon is proof that some people have claimed its existence.

Either way, all this mastubatory hair splitting still doesn’t change the facts I don't like claim that Trump “claimed” something when he in fact referenced other people claiming it happening. He didn’t specify who claimed it, just that people did.

Whew, its like an avalanche of Vic loosing today. He must be having a terrible day.

lol, its been a fun day thanks to you guys. The Left's "problems" are minimized everyday by Trump's tantrums. Combine his tantrums with the fact that he has forced the Dem's strongest issues with the voters, immigration and healthcare, to the forefront, and things are great. We can win on those topics everyday. Trump has no healthcare plan. He has no immigration plan.

Also, there is still no one saying windmills cause cancer, nausi debunked himself by posting a link to a fake syndrome, that never mentions cancer. It was funny. And Trump's dad was born in New York, and voter fraud remains a myth.

Also, Trump's grandfather was born in Germany. Sounds like he just flubbed up the father/grandfather thing. Not as stupid as Obama's 57 states.

Shutting down he border is worth everything it might cost.

What does shutting down the border mean? Closing all ports of entry? Only on the ground? Can Americans get out or back in?

I told you he wouldn't answer, lol. He doesn't know, but then again, neither does Trump.

Immigration? The topic Trump ran on and got him elected? The way you talk I swear you weren't alive in 2016.

lol, immigration didn't get him elected, but it certainly cost him in 2018. He doesn't have an immigration platform, he just recites the same talking points. Chain migration, visa lottery, oh and he added no judges recently. He has no idea what comprehensive immigration reform actually is. Its fun to watch.

I guess John Cornyn called him last night to tell him closing the border is a terrible idea, which, duh. Hundreds of millions of dollars legally come into Texas every single day from Mexico.

The House is actually gonna pass immigration reform before the election, and they will include a path to citizenship, the boogeyman of the alt-right. That's gonna be great, the screams of amnesty, the popularity of the bill, how Trump reacts to it will depend on the day. He will flip flop a few times to placate Ann Coulter.

So, the immigration debate is in the Dems' favor. The Left has no problems. Everyone hates Trump.

See, the problem with your version of reality is that you were saying the same kinds of things before he got elected, and yet... he's the President. Not only did he win, he won handily.

Back to the topic of willful ignorance. Do you have some of kind of anxiety issue that forbids you from admitting your own problems? Even in losing you can't admit that your side did anything wrong.

lol, it was what, the 10th closest election of all time? Trump squeaked by thanks mostly to the FBI keeping their investigation into him a secret but sharing the existence of Clinton's probe. If Comey doesn't announce the Clinton probe in October, she wins. If Comey announces the existence of the Trump probe at any point before the election, Trump loses. Trump didn't win on any of his radical issues.

Oh and he lost the popular vote by 3 million legal votes. He didn't "win handily." He squeaked by.

And he lost the House in 2018 because he made the election about him. And we continue to not worry about 2020, because yes, both immigration and healthcare are winning issues for the Dems, and Trump is underwater in 3 blue states he narrowly won in 2016.

People support a path to citizenship in pretty much every poll out there, and we don't even need to talk about the lack of healthcare ideas on the right. Like I said, its great over here.

Let's not kid ourselves, this is the main reason why Trump was elected.

They will never actually admit that, its ok tho. They couldn't spin for our entertainment if they did.

And wow fone is right, those ff11 threads are bad, I peek into that Ambu thread for tips, and they are already bickering on page...1!!! PAGE 1 PEOPLE. THATS BAD.

There is a very good reason the electoral college exists, it's also the same reason that Progressives loath it.

However even if he is a terrible diplomat, a terrible "deal maker" (Let's be honest, his extortion tactics aren't working against diplomats) and flip flops on everything multiple times, he still has decent chances of winning 2020, the dems are completely unorganized (Kind of like the republicans in 2016) and this is going to hurt them since the Mueller report isn't going to be the bombshell they wished for.

What the dems need now is a centrist who's serious enough to shift the party closer to the right.

Kudos for at least being mostly correct with the second half of the post. Since you're more grounded in reality, I may need to reply to your posts more often.

Anyway, it's a tad disingenuous to blame the election outcome on the investigation into Clinton instead on Clinton herself. We knew exactly what she did and the only question was whether or not she would be held accountable. With the investigation into Trump, he was being investigated for the sake of being investigated. Nobody has any proof that he did the things they accuse him of, hence the collusion exoneration. Two completely different scenarios.

Ignore the evidence? Tell us, Vic. What evidence of Trump/Russia collusion did Mueller find? I'd like a list, kthx.

Completely agree. She didn't lose SOLELY because Comey, she lost cuz her campaign didn't try to get the middle class Trump got. Didn't she call them Deplorables?

Indeed. They keep trying to abolish it, which is, in my opinion, not a good idea. Look at all that red in that map. Look at all that people that would be misrepresented. But interestingly enough, look at places like NY and VA. Mostly Red, but due to large centers of Blue, they overtake the whole state, and then WHAMMO, winner takes all.

IIRC, there isn't anything that says States have to be Winner Take All for their EC votes. I beieve a few New England states have their EC votes split proportional or something. That wouldn't be a bad idea maybe? NY would be harder to Winner Take All. Would give more power to the EC votes, and would make more EC votes matter more.

That idea prolly be HELL on election night. LOL.
