I don't get why tho.

I'd guess because those places suck, the same reason anyone's came here ever. America is awesome. they are free to make money without some pack of *** coming and killing their family and taking their ***, because this is a country with laws and general order. it's great, why not come here if you can.

The only real problem is when people from sucky places come here and for some reason try to enforce the same rules that made said places sucky.

It's not just a foreigner thing either, more and more places are starting to suffer because U.S. citizens who flee locations with crippling taxes vote the exact same way in their new locations.

Bot I tell you what. Being a NY'er and a republican, AOC is going to be the gift that keeps on giving. Between her and that Islamic woman in MN the dems are killing themselves.

How do these people get elected?

Yeah, its been hilarious to watch Fox News put AOC on their top story every minute of every single day, as if they are really having any impact on the party. Let the freshmen be freshmen, and keep doing exactly what we elected you to do. Stop Trump's agenda in its tracks (done) and investigate the hell out of his scandal plagued WH while he throws tantrums. Its been great.

What's even better is you have a bunch of oldschool Dems falling over themselves trying to emulate a clueless bartender. They're willing to let a little bit of social media savvy screw over their entire platform.

They fail to realize that although they hate Trump with a fiery passion, the nation as a whole isn't going to want to elect someone from a party of fad-following, wannabe socialists just because Orange Man Bad.

Every poll out there is already showing that over 40% of the country is dead set on voting against Trump without even knowing the field running against him. Like I said, let the freshmen be freshmen, they are harmless as long as Trump keeps being Trump. "Never Trump" won in 2018, he is the weakest incumbent since HW.

I mean, thanks for proving my point for me. Usually it takes a little longer, so your expedited service is appreciated.

That being said, apparently you're unfamiliar with how poll cycles actually work. "Never Trump" was apparently not as big of a factor as "Never Obama" was if you're looking at the midterms, but apparently that trainwreck wasn't enough to derail his reelection.

Additionally, an incumbent vs. "generic candidate" polling usually conjures in the mind of those polled a candidate that represents the party standard. It cannot predict how voters will respond in the event of an abnormal candidate, which appears to be likely in the Dems' case. Voter allegiance and enthusiasm could vary drastically.

Until we have more reliable data (after the primaries at the very earliest), keep believing that nobody in your own party can do themselves harm and get Trump elected. It's the same mindset that got him here, and it's the same mindset that will keep him here.

I know you are just trying to paint as best as picture as you can but its just not going to work. Give up trying to make the BUT OBAMA references already, they hold no relevance.

We had another poll come out today saying 2/3 of Americans believe Trump definitely committed crimes before taking office, seems like that New York AG case is still posing the biggest danger to him. He illegally arranged a scam to suppress stories and pay off all the women he had affairs with, and the people don't believe his weak denials over the actual evidence. And that's just one crime.

It's historical reference in relation to the topic of polling. It's called data, bro. I know you want to ignore everything that ever happened previously because it invalidates your points, but that's not how this works.

Circumstances are wildly different between the two, from the fact that Trump narrowly won his election compared to Obama's rout, the fact that Trump won blue states that he has NO chance of winning again, hence why he isn't getting re-elected. I mean we can really stop right there, unless you can paint an electoral college map that shows Trump winning.

That's the elephant in the room that none of the conservatives want to talk about, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin all went back to being blue in 2018. They are staying there. How does Trump win without those states? He can't.

They were blue before Trump won them, lol. Your obsession with the midterms results makes no sense. Of course states that were close "went back to being blue". I could have told you that would happen the day after the election.

I remember people asking the exact same question in 2016. One way to do it is by having the opposition think that he couldn't possibly win those states. I would assume that the Democrats would learn from Clinton's failure by not posing questions such as this....

So you can't answer, ok. I mean its cool if you have no idea, its a difficult question, which is why nobody on the right wants to actually address it. Better to make ***up and hope for the best.

By democrats and independents.

No self respecting republican would vote for them. Not that there are many self respecting republicans left anymore.

You literally can't know that the states will stay blue, so there's no question to answer. I don't know what you want me to say because it's a question with a foregone conclusion in your mind, so nothing I say will change that anyway.

So Trump returns from the failed Kim lovefest summit with nothing given away!! Yay!!!

But then unilaterally cancels large scale military exercises with S Korea.

Kim unilaterally is pursuing the "rapid rebuilding" of the long-range rocket site at Sohae Launch Facility.

We signal appeasement. They signal aggression.

Does this seem to be a Neville Chamberlain moment?

lol, sure there is. States that have been blue for 30+ years aren't going to just flip to a person like Trump. You can keep creating excuses to not be able to answer the question, its fine. Democrats have a clear path to the WH in 2020, Trump doesn't. The Electoral College has always favored the Dems, 2020 will be no different. They laid the foundation in 2018 without a nominee. This isn't a hard topic for anyone not a conservative.
