The Dems are gonna pass immigration reform this year, what is the GOP gonna do?
The Dems are doing to do what now? The Dems can't do diddly squat on their own in a split Congress. It has to be bipartisan, that's the way government works.

Liberals just won the election on immigration, pretty sure they aren't dying :)

Sure I will repeat myself, the Dems will pass an immigration reform bill this year, with or without the GOP. It will pass, and it will not include any wall money, just like the bill to re-open the gov't did not include any wall money. And the pressure will be on the GOP, just like it is right now.

Hows it going to pass without the President’s signature I wonder?
Im sure vics thought of that.

Do we need to play the I'm a bill vid for you? The House can pass any bill Pelosi wants with a simple majority vote. Kinda like how she passed the bill to re-open the gov't without any wall money, putting the pressure on the GOP (and the GOP only) to end the Trump shutdown.

Golf is for suckers, tennis is far superior.
And the tax cute got killed off by the trade war that the US is losing everyday. Not only that, the Trump shutdown is gonna cause everyone to get their tax returns late.

Can’t reopen the government wothout securing the borders. Need a wall to do that. We all know they work.

RBG sat out oral arguments for the first time in her career as a judge. She’ll be out pretty quickly Im betting. Pretty much the walking dead at this point.
By Viciouss 2019-01-07 14:30:57
Trump gonna do a speech tomorrow, not realizing every time he speaks he tells a lie and it's just that much easier to say no to a stupid border wall.

Illegal immigration costs over 100 billion a year. If a wall stops 1% of it, it will pay for itself in 5 years. If it stops 5% it pays for itself in one year.... Interesting number. Did you pull it out of your *** or Trump's?
Links or its imaginary.
P. S. Without illegal immigrants the American dairy industry would fold and the whole agriculture sector would be hurting. The average illegal farm worker is $5/hour cheaper than Americans who don't want the jobs anyway. And THIS is why we need immigration reform with or without a path to citizenship for those here now.
These U.S. industries can't work without illegal immigrants - CBS News
Legalize undocumented farmworkers? Some Republicans say yes
Seattle Times
Illegal immigrants help fuel U.S. farms. Does affordable produce depend on them?

?
Passing partisan bills that stand no chance of making it through the Senate is not "work". I know both sides do it, but it's stupidly lazy nonsense designed to score political points. If that's all Pelosi does during her useless tenure, then it will prove what we already know, which is that she sucks at actually governing.
Clearly you are 100% okay with the House not even trying, because your somehow under the illusion that stopping stupid laws from passing (which is called checks and balances, btw) somehow means that the Senate isn't doing its job. On the contrary, forcing both sides to come to an even partially bipartisan solution is the point of requiring 60 votes to pass.
You're so busy trying to score points for your side that you're letting them get away with not even trying. That's exactly what politicians want from their constituents, so here's your Scooby Snack. Go roll over like a good boy and enjoy two more years of nothing getting done on your taxpayer dime (assuming you actually pay taxes).

I'm fine with the failed Trump agenda being shut down for his last two years in office, that's exactly what America just voted for. Totally good with it,

That's the possible result but it's not "what they voted for", because that's just an overused, horribly boiled-down interpretation of what democracy means. That's like saying that America voted in Obama for a second term while simultaneously wanting him to get nothing accomplished without executive orders.

The president’s estimate is as high as 300 billion once you calculate all the ancillary system costs they affect. The cost isnt static either, it goes up every year.
The idea that we can spend 30 billion to save these costs or to reduce their increase is just a terrible argument. The wall literally only needs to be fractionally effective in order for it to be “worth it”. The truth is chanti that liberals don’t want to fix the problem, they need the dependents and they need the votes.

America gave the gop more seats in the senate, clearly they’re still massively in support of the president.

You keep saying america voted for <insert whatever thing you are selling here>.
When has there been an election besides maybe a handful that the incumbent presidential party kept both houses during midterms? Your golden boy lost one or both in his term and so has almost every president since the dawn of time.
you cheer something that was expected by the rest of us as some super victory.

It seems that wikileaks is taking a page from the sovereign citizen's book. The one where they make up a phony legal argument and say its real.
CONFIDENTIAL LEGAL COMMUNICATION
NOT FOR PUBLICATION.
Hint: it got published. Its way massively long but were it shorter it might be funny rather than stupid.

I mean whatever rebut you have to this assuming you don't just ignore it like Vic (lol), you cannot possible suggest illegal immigration doesn't cost us any money. Therefore putting up a wall which will slow or even stop the flood of illegal crossings will necessarily save us money.
