As expected, Pelosi took the speakership and immediately passed bills to end the Trump shutdown. The alt right has been trying to paint a hilariously false narrative that she was being held hostage by the left and would be more willing to make a deal for wall funding once she locked down her position as Speaker. Complete nonsense, no Democrats support the stupid wall. The House has done the job the people voted for, move on to the investigations.
Too bad its still is and forever will be a Democrat shutdown. Gotta protect the borders, and no reasonable person could expect a funding bill without a wall, cause of course they work.
Yea, it's a real shame the consequences will only land on Trump.

He isn't gonna veto it cuz McConnell isnt doing anything. Only Trump can end his shutdown, Pelosi did her job on her first day.

The Republicans put a bill through before Pelosi's latest turd. By putting forth a bill that could never pass, she isn't "doing her job" any more than they did. All this is is the two-party system cancelling itself out by prioritizing politics over the American people. Quite frankly, this doesn't make anyone in the government look good, and that makes me happier than almost anything else they could manage to pull off.

Yea, and the one that Pelosi passed is the same one the Senate passed unanimously, they intentionally didn't make any changes, So the pressure is on McConnell to hold the same vote, the Dems are free and clear. This was incredibly easy. Pointless Trump shutdown.
Dems also introduced a bill yesterday to abolish the electoral college.

It doesn’t matter. Pelosi, schumer still own the shutdown. It wont affect trump one bit, his base loves it and everyone lnows we need to secure the borders and build a wall. Dems have and will continue to overplay this, they own it all.

Lol, I'm sure Mitch McConnell wishes Trump was a better leader and would have taken his stupid wall stance BEFORE unanimously passing a bill to fund the government, instead of letting a radio host get in his head. That way, maybe the Dems could share the blame for the shutdown. Not only are they blameless, they aren't suffering any of the consequences. But nausi will keep spinning, unsuccessfully.
