Hi there, I'm working on a little VR project.

So far I've just prepared some assets, played with Noesis, FFXI tool and Unity<3D.

Playable demo should be coming very soon :)

Meanwhile, here is a little teaser.

Nice! I've never done VR before but it seems shaky to me. I would play it as my first VR experience! Keep up the good work and be careful of copyright claims from SE...

That dark *** forest would scare the ***out of me specially if I have to be avoiding monsters and ***. I'd probably run into a wall.

A horror ffxi theme vr experience would be neat...

Ahaha dont worry, this is just a poor screen capture with no gimbal stabilization. It was late and I just wanted to go back home :D

There is no more motion sickness induced by VR today, the industry put some solid standards in place to avoid it :)

Wait till you see my rendering of Delkfutt, with giant stomps, rattling and echo :P (fun fact, there is no BGM in delkfutt *chills*)

Ahah indeed, although Slenderman get old pretty fast. But i keep the idea for later :P

How's the framerate? I had issues keeping 90fps with no fancy effects on my VRChat worlds, looks like you've got a bunch.

I'm capped at 90fps atm inside the editor, and i'm still in Multi-pass lol
Only bottleneck is the particles/post effects, can always tune that down, the rest is pretty cheap.
Polygons cost nothing in 2018 really, without the post effects i can put all FFXI zones on GearVR :P

Trying to get around Windurst without any warps would have a similar effect.

I might have to re-setup my Oculus to have a go of this when it's ready :D

Exploring Jeuno in VRChat was one of the most awesome things ever. It's too bad there isn't characters or NPCs around. FFXI in VR would be awesome.

If you haven't tried the VR chat rooms, you should. La Thenine is amazing. The size of the Chocobos and the Crag are amazing in VR.
