He doesn't, but he has access to arma very fast I think, probably he has lots of items stored. Wanted to know if it was worth it to deal more damage with Leaden, given that he has no intention of getting DP
I only have foma and DP and no intention to get Arma so I can't directly help him providing numbers from the field xD

Couple of pages back I had already done testing for people.

Quick numbers on Desert Dhalmel outside Rabao.
r15 Death Penalty, day bonus, 1045 TP : 45981
r15 Armageddon, day bonus, 1045 TP: 34585
Fomalhaut, day bonus, 1045 TP: 36019
As you can see Fomalhaut is your closest ilvl option to DP though these numbers are all with Living Bullet equipped.
TP bonus gun, day bonus, 1045 TP: 38245
TP bonus gun will require you to have a BiS Leaden Salute set to not get the occasional resist in Dyna D.

Yeah Gun and Bullet DMG doesn't factor into the damage of Leaden Salute it's just MAB and AGI.

REALLY depends on the target. I get like 1 resist every few weeks in Dynamis [D], for example.
We do always use a Marine Stewpot, but I seriously doubt it's necessary. The content is like 8 years old and we've gotten a *** of gear plus MLs since then, plus statues are only available on W1-2.

If you are having a high resist rate on statues your gear is very lacking and needs updating.

I wouldn't remotely suggest using TP bonus gun for magic mobs in Ody C. Just take the hit in TP and use DP or a better gun or Savage Blade them.
Ody C mobs are quite a few levels higher than the dyna statues in my original post.

I guess it's not and it's just a matter of macc.
The gun lacks Macc Skill AND macc, so it's a big hit compared to any other ilevel weapon.
But on non-recent targets if the rest of your gear is BiS or close to that, it's probably gonna be enough, just like Creaucent said.
I can totally see that happen.
Speaking of Dyna, I can see it being totally fine on W1, given the pre-req we just defined, might be a bit low for W2 but that's where food will come to help, I suppose.

Guns have no magic accuracy skill to lose, so its just the macc, unless marksmanship plays a role in macc. Always just assumed its pulling macc skill from the MH

Ody C mobs are quite a few levels higher than the dyna statues in my original post. Talking crabs, pugs, Lamia and being too lazy to switch weapons or gun

I think it's less macc and more the ilvl of the weapon or in this case lack of. I've seen far less resists with ilvl Guns than TP bonus in higher level content.

Ilvl isn't a magic bullet. Other than changing the level of your trusts and allowing you to complete ROEs, ilvl doesn't do anything directly. I mean I'm sure there are some other misc effects, but combat-wise it's essentially just a designation of "this is a powerful item".
The actual stat differences are the combat skill, meva, acc, and (in some cases) main stats. If those aren't present (or relevant) then there's no difference.
