Vladimir Putin Concedes Defeat in Pennsylvania Special Election

Quote: Calling the result “close but no cigar,” Vladimir Putin has conceded defeat in Tuesday night’s special congressional election in Pennsylvania.
Speaking to reporters at the Kremlin, Putin thanked the many Russian campaign workers who tried but failed to propel the Republican candidate, Rick Saccone, into the winner’s circle.
“Our social-media trolls did some of their finest work to put Rick over the top, but, in the final analysis, we were a day late and a ruble short,” the Russian President said.
Putin had high praise for the Democratic candidate, Conor Lamb, who, he said, “managed to win in a district that I easily delivered to Donald Trump in 2016.” ...

Proprietary round from the late 1870's to 1880's. A lot of Merwins were chambered in .44 WCF, now known as .44-40. .44 MH was probably less popular because no rifle chambered it. Was apparently a thing to buy a rifle and a revolver that fired the same rounds.

Honestly, we had the issue come up back when Jaerik was around and the TL;DR was that the term "retard" didn't really carry the same weight as other slurs. If one of you got slapped for calling liberalism a mental illness, then IDK. There was probably more than one reason behind it.

Another potentially big story here.
Cambridge Analytica fraudulently obtained Facebook user data on its then used said data to run referendum/election adverts on Leave.EU and Donald Trump’s behalf. More pressingly though, Facebook has apparently been aware of this since 2015 but has only now just decided to act on it... makes one wonder why.
